Q. What’s good?

Fresh: Mostly selling my soul to the corporate world at the moment cause Commonwealth Bank don’t accept exposures as mortgage repayments but a couple of my favourite residencies are Mary Mae’s and Italia Lane. 

Q. Let the good ppl know your background?

Fresh: I’m a turntablist a despite not having much of an opportunity to flex outside my bedroom, I love building routines…**check out his handle** 

I spent most of my formative years spinning and producing boom bap/hip hop music. Been on a bunch of support slots over the years including GZA (Wu-Tang), MOP, House of Pain, Masta Ace, Bamboos & Hiatus Kaiyote. 

Q. Could you share a special memory and or musical moment?

Fresh: One of my most treasured memories was seeing Prince.

Q. ..and what do you have in-store for us this HUMP day?

Fresh: Soul music is like medicine to me. Gets me over the HUMP! 

Had to submit a House mix for my HUMP feature but one that encapsulates my love for sample-based hip hop and soul music. Hope you enjoy ‘Soul Putty’
