Money Bagz was created after some years off writing, after being told by an honest but blunt friend that’s like a brother to me that “I was making dark emotional music too much.” So I tried going for something new hype and energetic with a club bounce. With Heavy 808s, a kick that’s super punchy, a great flute melody, perfectly placed hi hats and claps the instrumental was the perfect fit for what I was after. The lyrics came from a place of authenticity, from my life and the people I grew up around, the environment I grew up in and the tragic events that have taken place over the years.
