Goggle Fire-Side Chat and you'll see they were a revolutionary way at the time for the then President of the United States to speak to the American People about the "times they were living in" it was intimate and embraced by the people. Peep the Art My Dj Mike Dangerous did at the end with the cuts and scratches. i always had a vision of cuts going back and forth between Martin Luther King saying "i Have A Dream" and Biggie Smalls saying "It was all a Dream" When Hip-Hop first started it didn't matter what vibe or how harsh the content was...ALL the artist had some record that uplifted the community, dropped some knowledge etc. But just as any form of art when Capitalism infects it....it gets Twisted. P.S. even NWA had "Express yourself"

09 - Fire Side Chat feat Dj Mike Dangerous

One of two records on the C.O.L.O.U.R.S. project that has the title of the painting actually being a Colour.This is a CLASSIC Dungeon Family record that was one of my favorite instrumentals of the legendary Organize Noize. I really saw this record as an ode to them where i wanted to put down that they MUST be considered in the top 5 when speaking on the GREATEST HIP-HOP PRODUCERS OF ALL TIME. I let loose on this joint!!!!! Twas fun!

10 - Black Ice

This is the title track of the project. I went to one of the POLAR ends of the Colour Spectrum for the features on this record. Ill explain the story of how i got these features in a post on therealmrbentley.com/my tumblr/C.O.L.O.U.R.S. webseries because i cannot write this one. u have to hear it from me personally! This record is a classic to my knowledge Lil Wayne and Pimp C have never been on a record together. and if they have the verses were NOT originally written to that track. shout to D~ON for the Beat! HE'S NEXT. 3000 described this as the most creative streat record of the year. i describe it as " BEAUTIFULHARD" YES THAT'S A HARP!

12 - C.O.L.O.U.R.S feat UGK and Lil Wayne

Go to Youtube and peep the visual! And yes i was rocking that haircut first!!! its called a "McClendon" after my Bishop Clenrence E. McClendon who rocked a different version....i remixed his joint!To my knowledge its the first video where Green Power was used for the cameras to film. each verse is a double entendre for a "Green" concept. Im using the three stories about three different woman as a metaphor for something else....u GOTTA Listen. My man Scholar produced this joint. I met him in the studio with Q-TIP he playes guitar among other things with him. 

13 - Greener Anthony Hamilton

Opening interlude to the project. I got the idea from one of my favorite albums of all time "Midnight Marauders" by A Tribe Called Quest. I also had been listening to "blue Funk" by Heavy-D (R.I.P.) I told my man 88 keys (Goggle Him and check out his sound cloud page) pulled out some records... I originally wanted Classical Music which unfortunately but fortunately he didn't have. This in retrospect was perfect. the was he took the needle off and changed the tempos is PURE ART! its entitled CLRS5 because i had him do like 6 different one and i placed them later during sequencing!

This is the song that actually got andre 3000 back rapping again....i just put it out after the walk it out remix etc....

16 - Everybody (Short) feat Andre 3000 and Kanye West

I love Christmas Carols. My dad always goes in on them every year. He would buy the Mannheim Steam Roller Christmas album every year just to give u an idea of how committed he is. Here is a late night freestyle i did on garage band at like 100 oclock in the morning. hahahaha Pls Share it! Smile!
