Born in LA and raised in Portland, Cooltown began playing flute, guitar, and drums at a young age. He quickly developed a passion for Techno, Electronica & Trance and began raving & spinning in Los Angeles, Southern California in 2009. Attending multiple Insomniac Events and drew massive inspiration from this central EDM hub.

Over the years, Cooltown has honed his craft and developed a unique style that blends Techno, Funk & House Music with influences from Headhunterz, Mord Fustang, Adam K & Soha, Deadmau5 & Tiësto with a splash of Funk, Tech & Groove. His sets are known for blending all genres of EDM with seamless transitions and always up to date with the latest releases from around the world, and he has built a loyal fanbase worldwide.

Cooltown's career has taken him to some of the biggest clubs and festivals on the West Coast, including The Gorge, NOS Event Center, The Whiskey Bar, No Vacancy, The Underground and Ora.  He is now a resident DJ and Director of Events at Opaline in the heart of Downtown Portland.
