Silhouette is a Czech producer and DJ based in Klatovy. His musical style is attributed to both ambient and deep/acid techno. In fact, Silhouette’s musical output blurs the boundaries between these categories. The released Album and EPs include melancholic and gloomy tracks, with atypically spacy atmospheres, and also veritable techno tracks that take you straight to the dancefloor. His releases found a home on czech labels Dirty Corner Recordings, DOLEC and Krmelec Recordings.

The debut album (and also the first vinyl release) “Lost In The Circle” was released in 2018 on Krmelec Recordings and in 2021 he released “Hůrka”, his second full-length album inspired by his exploring of Šumava landscapes with lots of field recordings, organic sounds and atmospheres.

Silhouette is a member of the Nite vibes crew, which organizes warehouse and outdoor parties. As a Dj he focuses his selection on techno tools, melodic/hypno side of techno, house, breaks or ambient tracks.

,,Like their namesake celestial body, Mars are a dreamer floating in orbit. A stellar object often mysterious, barely perceptible to the naked eye, from a galaxy of innocence and melancholy. Sometimes love-red, sometimes anger-red, they find life hard enough, but try to tint it with softness through music and activism, to heal the pain they encounter on Earth.
Mars cultivate a sharp taste for progressive house, trance and broken rhythms that make you sway... and sometimes ambient gems that make you shiver. Get ready for focused expressions, shared moments of sensitivity, the shy smiles of an introverted Alien thrown into the spotlight. To move you while making you move, that's Mars' mission.

Gender inequality, especially in the electronic music industry, is a central topic in my personal reflexion but also in my academic and artistic experience. More and more I tend to analyze all forms of oppression in the club culture and how I can attempt to address them, both individually and collectively. More and more my DJ activity is political. 
As part of my university studies, I worked on the reconfigurations of the social norms on the dancefloors, in light of feminist and queer political struggle in the night time economy. This work gave me tools to understand these power dynamics and fight against them, while also offering me a lot of hope through my encounters with amazing activists. Check out Consentis for example, an organization for the prevention of violence and discrimination in party spaces, with which I currently work :) It's so encouraging to witness changes in these environments, even though other factors like racism, transphobia, or classism are still too often overlooked...
As a bisexual & non-binary soul, it's important for me to find spaces where I feel comfortable, where I can have PROPER funnnn, when my friends are safe, with people who share the same values and utopias than me. I also wanna be active in the promotion of marginalized artists. That's why I'm so glad to be part of With Us ! This is a french collective who throws cute queer parties and whose goal is to give visibility to non-binary and transgender artists. We just want to bring together a community that loves music and seeks a place to fully enjoy it, that's our biggest dream and it's now a bit of a reality !! It gives me so much love, strength and creativity. And we'd like to have more partnerships with other queer collectives and venues in France and Europe in the future soooo ring us ;) "
