Here's the second installment in our Swedish Boot Mafia series.

The second artist to get the Swedish Boot Mafia treatment is Erik Hassle.

Erik Hassle popped up from nowhere, laying his hands on the runner-up position in the Metro Music Challenge in 2008. That rendered him a deal with Roxy Recordings, which subsequently was transformed into an international deal with Island Records and Universal Republic. His "Hurtful" gained him a lot of fans immediately. And after the Guardian hyped him - well, the rest is kinda history.

In February 2010, "Hurtful" was re-released in a slightly altered version worldwide, including the UK. The Swedish Boot Mafia still wasn't to happy with it and decided to give it the onceover.
