Behind Sob, we find Martin Zimmermann, also better known as Beat Bizarre. For years, he has been developing his sound field, experimenting in a direction many of us didn't know existed. On his first Sob release out on Sofa Beats, he joins forces with a lifelong pal, Tuco Ifill. Knowing each other from ground school and both having a broad musical background, this makes the perfect match. Tuco is a Danish/Barbadian singer-songwriter who is transforming dub grooves into soulful melodies with his vocals and lyrics. Tuco is known for collaborations with Lulu Rouge, Djosos Krost feat. Turbotito &amp; Pharfar, and NoN + with Ronnie Vindahl &amp; Robin Hannibal. This is the introduction to a long musical journey down the Sob art cave. We can't wait to share his unique sound with you, starting with the chapter 'Days of Disbelief'.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

When I was born, I remember two voices speaking. “Master!” one voice said. “This is magnificent — the dragon is almost alive!” “Add more water to the inkstone,” another voice said. This voice was near my head, I felt the warm air of his breath. “And speak quietly. This dragon painting will bring great honor to the village when we present it to the magistrate.” “Wasted on the magistrate,” the master said under his breath, so softly that only I could hear. “A conceited, self-important man, who, when only the imperial family is allowed to use the image of a dragon, commissions one. Now that his son has married the king’s daughter, Magistrate Tiger will do anything to flaunt his power and overstretch his authority. But this painting will buy his favor and free the village from his unfair taxes.”
Figura Retorica bring the tales of Shamanism into the light of this universe. This is their first offering for Shango Records. These tracks are as mellow as a sweet fruit. Adari and Sinai (IT) drink mush flowers and dream of atomic mellows.

Sometimes DEBAL SOMMER could see for miles and miles across the groovy green valley, as his companion JEAN CAILLOU on the top of a mountain can see for miles across the melodic rocks. The branches and leaves would lash him across the face, and he and his two cows BREGER & TIMBOLETTI would move out for a spicy lunch. So, bounding and crashing and whooping and yelling, the whole tribe, with CANSON in the middle, swept along the tree-roads.
