Tonfigur, like Sakuro's music has a double meaning. In German, it translates to a clay figure, while also the word "ton" can be used in reference to a sound. The shaping of substance and sound is of particular interest to Sakuro, as you can hear in his debut album. The double meaning you will hear, is regarding the play of dark and light, electronic and organic. With deep, booming bottom end, and sparkling and floating horns and percussion. Down-pitched and distorted vocal samples, paired with clear and crisp vocal contributions. Sakuro has spared no detail, there's something almost secretive and esoteric about the LP, it's a heavy listen that will leave you feeling light. Yes, it can do just that.

We have the pleasure to premiere again one of Thommie G's tracks out on the wonderful Tropical Twista Records. It is a beautifully composed piece of music taking you on a tropical journey. 

Takimuyki is part of Naaleo EP, coming to our favorite label from the tropics: Tropical Twista Records, the same label where Thommie G released his debut EP, almost 2 years ago.

Takimuyki mixes various elements together; it's a delicate piece of music, combining Ayahuasca ceremony music from the Amazon rainforest with modern day rhythms, percussion and melodies. Not necessarily meant for night clubbing activities, the track mesmerizes the listener away from the cold European winter straight into the warmth of South America. 

Watch the release closely as it hits stores on february 26th, for there's a remix coming out by the likes of Ohxala, taking it to deeper levels with an awesome groove.

Señora became a firm favourite with the likes of Andrew Weatherall (R.I.P.) and Sean Johnston for his rugged grooves and innovative approach to production, melding the sounds of machines, animals, electricity and other weird noises in a flurry of FX and sonic experimentation. He debuted on this label in 2017 and has also landed on Shango Records, Night Noise and LNDKHN since then. Now based in Berlin and a regular at clubs and festivals round Europe he offers up a debut album that features nine stunning pieces that aim to reflect on the next evolutionary steps of the human race. This is a hugely atmospheric album of perfectly realised interplanetary sounds, the whole thing taking you on a cerebral and evocative journey far away from here.
