A collection of 4 fixed media compositions that are a reflection on this current moment in human history.  Autunno which features Italian sono-poet Ilaria Boffa speaks of a coming storm and the winds of change. La Citta Del Sole features text from Italian philosopher and theologian Tomasso Campanella and speaks to mankind's' willingness to blindly follow its' power hungry leaders. Significant Decisions features the words and voice of J. Robert Oppenheimer the American theoretical physicist who speaks of the opportunities science brings to mankind. However, the question remains will we use it for the betterment of humanity?  Lastly, New Dark Age is a mirror on our current world culture that places little value on life and desires to remain living in a warring world

Above my head -
The burning summer sky,
Begging and walking.
 

Haiku featured in the collection "Fire on the Mountain: the Selected Haiku of a Wandering Zen Monk Taneda Santôka". Japanese, and English translated by Hisashi Miura and James Green.

A wandering poet and ascetic Zen priest, Santōka was a disciple of Ogiwara Seisensui, one of the first poets to discard the traditional use of the 5-7-5 structure in haiku.

Santōka’s poetry emphasizes the necessity of sabi (solitude) in order to achieve spiritual enlightenment and serenity.
