It's been exactly 5 years since i uploaded my first beat to my old but now suspended YouTube-channel and you guys been showing me love and support ever since. So i wanted to give ya'll something special. Here it is - my new conceptual project entitled "Timeless Jazzyness" which i worked on primarily for the past year. It started off as an EP but ended up being an instrumental album. This very instrumental album is my most ambitious and important project to date and i put my heart and soul into this one. Granted, it's not done on a professional level - no mastering, no clean and polished sound, just raw jazz and soul. The kind of music that helped shaping the sound of hip hop and me as a beatmaker.

Remembering Radio Raheem

This is a beat called "Sonny's Missing" from my new instrumental album "Hood Polaroids LP: Music Inspired By Motion Pictures".

Release: 2019/2020

This new instrumental album is basically a selection of jazzy and soulful beats inspired by my favorite hood movies. My goal was to watch a hood movie every month and make an instrumental based off of that movie. Each instrumental represents classic or key moments/plot points/actions as well as iconic characters from those movies. This album means a lot to me because, coming up, hood movies were such a huge part of my life and this LP is my way of honoring these cinematic pieces.

The World Is Mine

My mom was someone who never told me to stop making music or turn my music off. She did tell me to turn down the volume when it was too loud but she never told me to stop. And i won't. Right now, i'm not in the mood at all to make any music. I didn't create something for this specific occasion and i don't think i would be able to. So i looked through my files and i found this. I didn't know wether or not i should put this one up though. Maybe it's too soon. Maybe it's not. You tell me.
It perfectly captures how i felt at the funeral. Everything i had in mind while i was listening to this instrumental was this one rose i held after church. I held onto it for as long as i could. I stood there, rooted to the ground. I didn't move at all. When everybody told me to drop it, i wanted to still hold onto it. When i went over to the grave and held the rose over it, my hand was shaking quite a bit. I didn't want to let go but i knew in the end i had to.
