For this week we invited rising talent Impulse. He caught our eyes with his set at Vault Sessions during ADE last October and the productions he has been releasing on Bandcamp over the last months. About this mix, he said:

'Rough and rumbling was my idea for this set: keeping the energy high while surprising the listener with interesting sounds that evolve over time. I like to record podcasts, because it gives a bit more room to experiment and play tracks you really like. I think the process of finding and finetuning your style never ends; which is a good thing. With my productions I also like to switch things up, from trippy to fast paced grooves: it doesn't have to be one or the other. Just have fun and never stop experimenting.'

A founder of the Vortex parties and resident at Den Anden Side (former Ved Siden Af) Neri J is an artist and DJ who’s music breaks down the boundaries between techno, acid and trance. With hard hitting and high intensity throughout the entire set, Neri J does not rest in her delivery, making these her own trademarks and cementing her as one of Copenhagen's true underground darlings.

Producer and DJ from Gdansk, Poland, resident of scottish Project Radio (@projectbrand). His productions conquer sets all over the world and are a combination of booty bass, ghetto house, electro, breaks and hot g-funk native to the West Coast. Recently he has taken a new direction by mixing elements of trance and ghetto in his productions. He started with Soundcloud, where he created his signature sound, releasing tracks alongside producers such as Dj Mell G, YTP, Club Cab, Raw Takes and 666uba. Mezer has already released his tracks on more than twenty labels, including: Angels Gun Club, Crazed Behavior, Gimmeabreakrecords, Your Character, Native Boundaries, Urban Rar or Low Income Squad. His debut EP "Corrupted Minds" won praise from many DJs around the world including the legendary DJ Stingray, who played tracks from the EP at many of his gigs. Mezer likes to throw himself into his sets: groovy, powerful electro or old-school ghetto house.

On 20.04.24, @gioskimusic hosted an 'Animal Farm' event at beautiful At Giri Berlin. The concept of her events is simple: offer the audience exclusive b2b sets with the goal of creating a truly unique experience.
For this special edition, she decided to pair duos from Switzerland and Berlin.

Even though we’ve never met prior to this B2B session, the synergy between us, whose different styles and skills creates distinctive aesthetics,  forging us into one entity, merging the tracks into unexpected dynamics and layers and here is our results.

Launching off from sound design / ambient / drone and driving into rhythmical and dynamic techno.

Toshiki Shimada B2B Distorted Orchestra (For Animal Farm at Giri Berlin)

Pech+Schwefel is the collaboration of Leonhard and Franco. Lots of passion and groove stands behind the duo when they dive into a deeper spectrum of fast driving techno with the preference of analog and modular hardware. The Austrian duo made their debut by releasing “Sloppy Tape” EP on the Scottish label Animal Farm. 2022 with the first vinyl release “Focus Forward” on Twice Infinity, P+S officially kick off their project and since then, they are constantly pushing fast-paced, high-energy techno sets which they regularly present through CDJ's, turntables or a live setup.
