The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Less Distress. The project of St. Petersburg's Polina Shelkova, The Russian artist, DJ and producer released her first EP, Tsar-City, on COUP label in 2019 and has since released more than 18 tracks on labels like RAW, ISMUS, MITSU2000, CRUNCH and more. 

She honed her craft in some of the city's most iconic spaces including Redrum, Mosaique and now at Blank, where you can regularly find her destroying dance floors with all shades of techno, hard grooves, rave, industrial and more which she brings in full power to this set.

This week, we present a fairly fresh project presented to you by DJ Hauge and KennyKrazyWorld. In contrast to their personal works, the sounds of this project are light-footed and uplifting, serving a concoction of pacey trance tracks with the same psychedelic influences that they are now renowned for. We can see this project going far, especially backed by the label that is home to the majority of their music - the insane In Orbit record label.

Following her Technomate debut in July, we’re delighted to have @denandensidecph resident Neri J feature on our podcast series this week. Born in Lithuania and based in Copenhagen, the co-founder of the @vortexcph event series has played across the Danish capital and beyond into Berlin, Nantes, Shanghai, Chengdu, Tbilisi and several more clubs and spaces across the globe. She’s also a resident of the collective, label and party @bunkerbauer. As a DJ, Neri J’s sound is a tasteful blend of techno, acid and trance, culminating in a dynamic and immersive trip that tickles all of the senses, as displayed on her driving mix for us.
