Motormouth Recordz -  August 2020

In the first half of the 90's when I was discovering electronic music and importantly Hardcore Techno🖤. Technohead released some awesome compilation/mix album's on UK dance label: React Records. It was the first time id seen names on electronic music albums like "Mix Hard Or Die", "Harder & Faster" let alone seen CD like this in my local HMV record shop.
These compilations were for me and I am certain many others a real eye opener to a world of exciting music. Thankyou! Checking these out again they are still amazing and its fascinating to see how "all over the place" the selection was while still maintaining a high quality control level and all tied together somehow. Its a credit to both the Technohead and perhaps that moment of time, that no rules or preconceptions of Hardcore must sound a certain way seem to apply.
Technohead of course also made plenty EPs (and still does on Mokum Records and recently on Rave Muzik) with some great tracks ("The Number One Contender" is still an all time favorite of mine).
Its a great honour to have the Michael Wells aka GTO aka Technohead mix the latest Motormouth Podcast. It debuts on Friday Night on here and also Hardcore Radio. Oh and so you know its a modern "Techno 2 Hardcore mix" - Al
