In der neuesten Folge von Metaspace führt Carmen Kalata ein Interview mit der Künstlerin Barbara Lüdde, die derzeit gemeinsam mit Anica Seidel ihre Werke in der Ausstellung "Two of me" in der Galerie Waidspeicher in Erfurt präsentiert. Die Ausstellung inszeniert eine Welt voller Doppeldeutigkeiten, Ambivalenzen und Kontraste, indem sie komplexe Themen wie Identität, Macht, Unterdrückung und menschliche Beziehungen behandelt. Anica Seidel untersucht in ihren Objekten und Installationen die Wirkung von Symbolen der Gewalt, die sie mit kritischem Humor in Klangobjekte oder Gebrauchsgegenstände verwandelt. Barbara Lüdde nimmt uns mit ihren filigranen Tuschezeichnungen in eine Welt der Sub- und Nachtkultur, in der sie Bilder von komplexen Identitäten und sozialen Codes zeichnet. Die Ausstellung bietet eine besondere Gelegenheit, diese beeindruckenden Werke noch bis zum 4. August 2024 hautnah zu erleben. Das Interview beleuchtet die Hintergründe ihrer Arbeiten und lädt dazu ein, die Ausstellung selbst zu besuchen. "At this time of year in Glasgow the nights get darker, it gets colder and it gets harder. You might think that is the case for any city transitioning into winter but there’s something about Glasgow that when this transition happens it feels like a real punch in the stomach. So while picking out records I’ve tried to concoct something of an antidote to this annual feeling. It moves from September into October and November into December with the pains/pleasures I have over those months. It’s turned out quite personal, perhaps more than I had originally intended but I like the vulnerability in it."

CORECASS is a solo music project by Hamburg based multi-instrumentalist Elinor Lüdde. Since 2014 CORECASS merges different instruments such as harp, accordion, electrical guitar and her voice combined with field recordings, foleys and digital or synthesized instruments to produce a peculiar signature. 
Thereby her open and challenging approach casts a new light on tradition-steeped sounds whilst using a wide range of various kinds of elements. 
The result is an unpredictable and cinematic style of music – an elegiacally dark and atmospheric conglomerate made of cliché busting experiments between electronic and non-electronic sounds and sources.
