A piece based on ancient Greek music theory and the translations by Dr. M.L.West of ancient Greek children's songs and games. Stolen Glimpses of Eternity by Coreen Morsink was played and recorded by the quartet invoke as part of the Smackdown V String Quartet competition held by Golden Hornet in Austin, Texas, 2019. The work uses ancient Greek music theory as a base using quarter-tones and a never ending number series by Leibniz for the structure.
