When you are German then there will always and always be these haunting questions which you ask yourself about the holocaust : How could this happen?  Was it the result of the human kind’s deficits in humanity canalized in a horribly perfected system of murder? Could this happen again? Here in Germany or elsewhere? Was this a German phenomenon? Am I and are my sons guilty of what our ancestors did? I will have no answers to these questions here. This is just a piece of music which evolved while I was struggling with these thoughts about human deficiency and its results.

swindlers
romantics..
lost in childhood..
this will not end, as long as
there is
the smell of the sea,
and it
- drives you crazy!

April...

we have opened the swimming season!

is it cold?

passers-by envy us!

May -

where is this gangster paradise?

peals of thunder
the sky is blinded by lightning!

who tried to keep us at home?!

we disappear until night!
not taking off from the pier - not knowing life,

we get wet in fountains during the day!
and from there quickly on
scooters!

June...

nights on the beach
we continue to dive -
we do not breathe
and behind the buoys,
while the lifeguards sleep!

Sand is pouring
again
and a raid on cherry orchards...

July -

dancing under the lawns, watering
the heat!

everywhere we are looking for only water,

the sky
praying for rain!
it hears us!
and here it is!

pools are everywhere,
but the seas - the black element
beckons
and does not let go.

August
will burst in like a falling star,
and then she made a wish:

summer will never end!

songs
loud with sea spray - the anthem of Odessa -
scares cats at night,

cannot escape,
we are there now!..

real!
don't betray,
don't leave,
don't forget,
and come back!

let the tires puncture,
- we go barefoot!

red sunrises
on the water surface

In a September storm...

fishermen talking...
and you're all wet...

where's the roof?
what were we dreaming about?
looking at the sea...

апрель ..

купальный сезон

открыли мы!

разве холодно ? 

намм завидуют прохожие!

май -

где тот гангстерский рай?

раскаты грома
слепит небо от молний !

кто пытался нас удержать дома?!

до ночи
пропадаем!
 без с пирса полётов  - жизни не зная

днем мокнем в фонтанах!
и  скорей - оттуда на 
самокатах!
  

июнь ...

ночи на пляже
нырять продолжать - 
не дышать
и за буйки
пока  спасатели спят!
песок высыпаем
опять
 и
набег на черешен сады...

июль -

танцы под газонов полиивом 
жара!
везде только воду ищем 

небо 
о дожде моолим!
оно нас слышит!
и вот он!

бассейны повсюду
но  моря - стихия черная 
с собой манит  
и не отпускает..

август звездопадом
врывается
и тогда загадала
- 
 лето не кончайся!

брызгами моря
песни 
громко - гимн Одессе - 
ночами 
котов пугает


не сбежать
мы и сейчас там..!

настоящие!
не предать 
не уйти
не забыть
и возвращаться!

пусть шины в проколах
- пешком босые ходим!

рассветы красные
на водее глади
на фото не передать их!!

в шторм сентября..
волной накрывает.
костёр. 
рыбаков разговоры ..
и ты весь мокрый..

где крыша та
о чем мы мечтали?
на море глядя ..

чтоб ...
в октябре
продолжалась
история — наша

и тот Гангстерский рай..
