A tune I wrote over the course of a few years and the inspiration for this album. It's what I feel like when a crow or raven is following you around in the woods and calling at you.

Crow in the Spruce Tree

Written in 2013 and recorded fully in 2020 with a background of Red-winged Blackbirds and Grackles just as the snow and ice is melting. I tried to capture that feeling of when you know a change is coming.

My take on an oldtime standard and one of the first tunes I learned on banjo. I like the modal sound and the rhythm of it. Shout out to Tommy Jarrell!
