When the Summer is Over track with Keys. I wrote this song mainly because I don’t like transitioning out of summer. It is my favorite season of the year and I am always so sad when it ends. I also am looking back to my first boyfriend who was quite romantic. Back to simpler times and my first true love.

When the Summer is Over with keys

Red Sun is a rock and blues ballad. Sung in a sultry tone, it evokes the warm feeling of when you are with someone you love at sunset. This was the first take and I made up the lyrics and melody on the fly. Allan Barton was playing this song from his head for weeks, but I thought of it as an instrumental version.

Red Sun is a sultry blues rock tune about being with the one you love at sunset. Well that’s the literal definition. It could also be the bond between two people and how they live their lives together. This is the acoustic guitar version.

Come As You Are was written during lockdown when we weren’t able to see family and friends. It is about trying to reach out to the ones you love during hard times but you cannot touch them or see them.

This is the first song in the Rock Opera called Rain which is written by Corine Barton. Rain is the story of a Rock star that has fallen into drug addiction and somehow manages to find his way out through his connection with nature and his belief in god. He trips and falls on his way taking different paths to nirvana but finally succeeds and beats his own bad habits. Amerijam is a rock band whose focus is on original creative rock and psychedelic rock. Songwriters Allan and Corine Barton collaborate together and frequently come up with songs while jamming. Hence the name Amerijam. Followed by Tim Costello on keys and Bobby Vale Jr. on drums. They were one of the 10 finalists in the 2021 WNNJ 103.7 FM Battle of the Bands with their song Anchor.
