Corinna Swara amps up the meditative vibe of her debut EP Sounds of the Soul with an explosive drum & bass remix by producer Kenny Dread. The new single "The Jewel In The Lotus (Kenny Dread Remix)" soars in a bhakti trance as Corinna's ecstatic singing is perfectly propelled by Kenny Dread's bass-heavy frenetic beats, exotic temple bells, and hypnotic tamboura drone.

Corinna Swara’s background as a dancer and choreographer inspire full embodiment of the experience in a music video shot during the Covid lockdown on the wild abandoned beaches of West Cork Ireland.

As a child of the '70s and a youth of the '80s, Corinna Swara was at her happiest dancing and singing. Her early love was for the hippy freedom songs of Melanie and Richie Havens. While living and working in the inner city of Leicester England, she could hear the sounds of reggae, rock, bhangra, indie, metal, dance hall, steel bands, mosque prayers, and Asian dub in the streets and from the roof tops. Through her work as a dancer and choreographer she was surrounded by music makers and sound studios, and music both live and recorded was integral to her choreography.    

Corinna Swara found her true voice through yoga and bhakti devotional singing. This practice led to embodying and feeling the full effects of chant in her life, work, and heart. As a yoga teacher,  she spontaneously improvised around traditional Sanskrit mantra to the accompanying sound of her Indian shruti box. Producer Kenny Dread attended one of her classes and urged Corinna to share this music with the world. "Sounds Of The Soul" captures the essence of her live yoga class chanting, and was recorded in the resonant atmosphere of An Sanctoir, a yoga center and nature sanctuary in West Cork Ireland.

Corinna Swara also sings with the West Cork based tribal world music group Mantra Mana Ma.
