A ‘’beat’’ is theoretically defined as the ‘’pulse, tempo, meter, specific rhythms, and groove of an electronic tune’’ it will quickly catch on why Corneel had no other option but to go with the Producer/Dj name of - ‘’CENTRAL BEAT’’
While his music is fluid and free, one thing remains consistent is his ability to take listeners on a journey with him to explore their own inner sounds & central beats. 
South African born, minimal producer & DJ - Central Beat fell deeply in love with electronic music with a specific & fierce curiosity for anything and everything deep, dark and minimal. He has spent the past 5 years soaking up a multitude of production skills, while today Central Beat focuses on pushing an infectious fusion of synth-laden minimal techno beats. Throughout his relatively short yet successful career he has been influenced by a variety of producers such as Ordinary Subject, Jessica Diaz, Mateo, F-EHT, which explains why you will be hard-pressed to argue for a lack of diversity within his productions. His tracks go from the deeper end of minimal and breaks through to the tougher grooves of techno & underground sounds with an-atmospheric melodyy throughout his productions.
‘’CENTRAL BEAT’’ spends a vast amount of time his studio as he strives to compose/push out the endless rhythms in his head, while carving out his deep signature analog synth-lines and grooves for his next upcoming releases. While a relatively new venture for him, the challenge has without a doubt seen him progress successfully into the next phase of his music career. With a slew of releases already under his belt, and constant releases in the pipeline, Central Beat has set the bar high for his work ethic and continues to dedicate himself to the craft.
In music and music theory, the beat is the basic unit of time, the pulse (regularly repeating event), of the measurable level or beat level. The beat is often defined as the rhythm listeners would tap their toes to when listening to a piece of music, or the numbers a musician counts while performing. Rhythm in music is characterized by a repeating sequence of stressed and unstressed beats (often called "strong" and "weak") and divided into bars organized by time signature and tempo indications.
