They say that real recognizes real and that certainly holds true with this new collab between Massachussets emcee Joyner Lucas and H-town's King of the Streets Trae Tha Truth. Upon being asked to listen to Joyner's controversial but heartfelt shot at racism, and his life as a bi-racial kid, "Half Ni**ger", Trae immediately offered to jump on a track with the talented up-and-comer. "Finally Home" is what they came up with.

This is the first single off my album, "Along Came Joyner" which is dropping later this Summer. This song is about being on your own and by yourself because you don't trust nobody. I'm talking about going through trials and tribulations of regular life situations we all have encountered at one point. This song is for all the people who struggle day to day while living check to check to survive.. this is for all the hustlers and everybody else who grind out and work hard to ultimately try and succeed. As my first single I feel this is a great 1st impression and representation of myself and what it was like growing up. It gives people insight on who I am and where I came from. I felt Busy Signal could really bring this record to life. I have always been a fan of Busy and I'm excited to have him on this record. He is a perfect fit.

On this record I was talking about taking about average people who lie, front, brag, steal, cheat and live life like your average lame who tries to put on a certain act to get respect. I'm saying they need Joyner intervention.  Meaning they need some counseling and schooling from me, and that's exactly what I'm doing when I rap on this song.. this is a beat produced by !LLMIND who personally told me I was a fool if I didn't put this on the album...
