I recorded this in July when I came across these ruins of a bunker on my way back from the beach.
It is such a great location for a rave that I just had to do an impromptu set there (Well, first set up my bike, this is not how I went to the beach 😄). What do you think about the choice of tracks - do they fit the location?

Unfortunately condos and stuff are getting built in the vicinity - so I guess the location doesn't work (anymore) for a bigger sound system...

(This was the second set I recorded since getting back into DJing again, just for anyone interested in my learning curve 😉)

Bunkeri, Poland

Here is the set I played in Logroño on San Mateo, Saturday evening.
I've put up my small travelling gear in a side street just across Calle del Laurel and started playing.

People seemed to enjoy it - someone even so much they stayed while their friends went to party somewhere else - I hope some of you will enjoy it as much 😊. It's uncommon sounds for that area of Spain and many People were not surprised I'm from Hamburg 😄.
San Mateo in Logroño is great, even the police was chill enough to let me do it. I guess that's the advantage of the smaller setup. 😅

Sines in Portugal has an extensive Harbor area. And there is a big spot in the middle where there is nothing except a nice view on the ocean and the city - and the occasional other camper stopping there for a night or for cooking.
This finally gave me the motivation I needed to do a mix again. With lots of new experiences from a small downtempo festival near Barcelona to process, it for sure needed to be something slower. I hope you'll like it.

Down In Sines Harbor

This is my opening set from Saturday on NYE Weekend on the Bamboo (Or was it called Kiosk? 🤷‍♂️) Stage.

I finally got to play on an actual stage with a decent sized sound system! And that it was outdoors made it even better. :-)

Thank you, FridayHappiness, for giving me this opportunity to play on something bigger than my own soundbike speakers 😅.

(Full disclosure: Towards the end of my playtime I was asked to increase the tempo to 120bpm for a handover. Since that does not make sense on Soundcloud imho, I re-recorded that last part later)

I found only a few mixes in this area on SC, so maybe having another one is useful for somebody else too.

Or maybe someone likes it because of the somewhat wild selection:
The tracks are spanning more than four decades and at least that many genres (Ach Genres, das sind doch bürgerliche Kategorien...). This made it much different to what I'm currently used to mix, but I guess old muscle memory kicked in and I quite like the result. And since it's for my own practicing I'll probably listen to this myself a lot... 🤹

80bpm POI practice mix

My creation for the melodics beatmaker bootcamp. This is not what I expected a month ago. I just wanted to make an edit of an existing track.
But so much good stuff coming from the other participants got me to do a complete track of my own - while travelling through Spain in a Van...

Something Borrowed

This mix I wanted to do for a while now but then got sidetracked with slower stuff 😅.

It was cold up at about 1000m in the Black Forest, so I huddled up inside my van - remote enough so I can be as loud as I wanted inside it. It was great, but next time I can hopefully do this outside again because honestly I think this kind of music would be best experienced in a wide space with open skies (And killer lights, ofc). 🪐

Drifting Home

Usually Downtempo to Midtempo. Some call it Ketapop, Schneckno, Organic House, Indie Dance, Melodic Techno & whatnot. I like to venture wherever the flow takes us, not stopping at alleged genre limits but instead taking all the groovy twists and turns the journey has in store for us today.

Sometimes dreamy & flowing, sometimes bouncy & playful, sometimes dark & driving - but always for heart, stomach and feet for sure.
