Nervous within worth less than them 
Curses his sin burdens begin
Colors that blend by blurred light that bends
Real pretend friends just as fake as mannequins
Masquerade massacres charades and shenanigans 
Decorated holidays dandelions dangling

Holding hot handles with a handful of scandals
Turned like triangles on illuminati tattoos
Hot morning breath leftover breast milk and taboos
Distant relatives living in a district of discreet avenues
Cold hearted killers walking shamelessly amongst us
Bold and smart dope dealers wandering aimlessly in front of cops
Birth of a dying breed making way for the death of hip hop
3 cornered room camera angles forgetting to remove the lens cap

More anti depressants according to what the new doctor recommends 
Here take em with these brain kills I mean pain pills no one will know the difference
Wake up with some faint chills and just a few less brain cells 
Now that's a good boy so let's just wait for population control
In essence eventually it's infecting us all inevitably 
The cause of the effect has turned commotional chaos into a billion dollar industry
But that's not the biggest lie that we've been told since the invention of the TV
Nope because we believe that our manipulated choices are up to you and me

We ask each other questions to keep ourselves from second guessing
Sell ourselves short in search of more prized possessions
Claim to be concerned with one anothers suggestions
But deep down inside we still feel we hold the best one
Lists are lost amongst this criss crossed logic
Still stuck inside of a mid life crisis 
Now it's time for nightly news to create a new topic
Mr. Barak Obama, what are we gonna do about ebola and ISIS

We've got chalk lines from cocaine shot with heroin thru cold veins
Having 22yr old kids lookin just like old men
Listen to the authorities when they tell you to obey
Trust the politicians they'll be sure to make everything ok
Now put your hands in the air but do so slowly
Now recall everything that happened that night to the best of your ability
Check yourself into rehab we have a cure for your self inflicted addiction
We gave you this disease as a kid of course with your parents permission

Does anyone really even understand the depth of there own sediment
Will there ever be a better time than the present to explain your lack of relevance
Why do we question our ideas when we come down from a natural high
Do you remember the first time that you really felt this close to God
Who do you believe in when you've got no hope left at all
When you do decide to jump are you going to try to pretend to make it look like a fall
If you scream in your sleep but there's no one else in the room to hear you 
Did it really happen or am I just going crazy too

Top of the morning at the bottom of another bad week
This it's just the beginning in the middle of a sad speech
Living life suspicious amongst hatred and death wishes
Giving into a life of lust apparently seemed so delicious 
But now it's time to take back almost everything you've ever gave
Go ahead step forward but be careful not to put that one foot into the grave
Behave in a manner that to most seems so matter of fact
Be brave in the latter and remember in the end there may be no take backs

Kids Coolin out on the corner standing in an alley by an abandoned side street
Smoking marijuana cigarettes red eyed smiles flashin bad teeth
Pockets full of pills to chase the taste of cheap rum and Pepsi
Who ever said that there was no hope in the future of a young junkie
Potentially beautiful women deciding between designer drugs and going hungry
Pac said it best when he sang that only God can judge me
But like Slug says God loves ugly
And just because you put me down it doesn't mean that you're above me

Mayday(sos)

These are some work in progress spoken word poetry and hip-hop songs that i have written and recorded in rehearsal. Currently I am finishing the production of an all original composition studio album/soundtrack.
