Welcome to the world of Drone, a London-based label founded by producer, artist and Death In Vegas guiding light Richard Fearless. An outlet for dancefloor distortion and other musical explorations. Created in the Metal Box, Drone will release oscillations in many forms.

For this, the debut outing Richard Fearless lays the mandate in the form of Higher Electronic States - proto-techno, peaktime acid. Analogue electronics, hammer-horror strings underpinned with drums to blow apart any floor. This is music made for very dark, smoke filled rooms with absurd lazers.

Crème Organization & M>O>S Recordings mainstay D’Marc Cantu picks up remixes duties on the flip toning things down in tempo but certainly not tension.  Full stream of this coming soon.

Richard Fearless - Higher Electronic States - Drone

Correspondant is back with its 19th release due out 9 September, 2013. This time we welcome back French producer Offset who had previously appeared on the label with his Gazoline EP in the spring of last year.
His latest 12", Absinthe, opens with the title track quickly pulling the listener into a theatrical and futuristic thriller where you feel as if you're part of the suspenseful plot. The journey continues with 'Falling', a spacious and groove laden track. Hovering around ten minutes each, the first two tracks of the EP set a remarkably vast and gripping scene.
The second half of the release is composed of remixes by Jokers of the Scene and Madato. Jokers of the Scene, a Canadian duo, remix the title track 'Absinthe' while Madato lends a remix of 'Falling'. Each of these acts has an unmistakable affinity for surreal and cerebral sounds, which makes them apt additions to Offset's material.

Asphalt DJ returns to Oddysee with another intoxicating 4-track formula, titled “Double O”. Operating on a solo tip this time around, the Berlin-based producer further expands his sonic palette and offers a versatile collection of steamy club workouts geared towards various stages of dancefloor functionality. The record seamlessly touches on seductive after-hours bounce, slices of late nite propulsion and flawless rhythmic explorations, while keeping firm footing in the 90 and 00’s sound spectrum.

With an eye on the ongoing terror inflicted upon the Palestinian people, we (artist & label) decided to donate all proceeds from this release to Save The Children - Gaza and West Bank Emergency.

Descend into the Mines of Moron, where yourFlatmate and Yendor carve out mutant prog house from deep beneath the club floor. This six-track excavation unearths pressure-cooked oddities—raw percussive strata, mineral-rich grooves, and psychedelic fumes leaking from every fault line. Glen S. drills deeper with a Bodyfuck Remix that liquefies the foundations, while Cybernet welds a chrome-plated reconstruction fit for alien machinery. This is a multidimensional core sample cut from the weirder seams of the mine . Handle with gloves—some surfaces may still be volatile.

A delicate split in the molecular tide, Equinox is where structures soften.
Jake Tidd sculpts four progressive studies in tension and release, tracing the subtle choreography of particles suspended mid-air. Like drifting ions in a field without gravity, each track orbits around its own magnetic core, pulsing, phasing, gently colliding.
At the centre, neutrons burn slow and dense, a compressed charge of rhythm and emotion folding inwards. The surrounding cuts ripple outward like energy dispersing across a vacuum, forming patterns too precise to be accidental, too fluid to be fixed.
There’s a sense of calibration here. Feel the way each groove is engineered to like a controlled experiment in trance induction, a molecular ritual for systems in flux.

Two original cuts lead the way, showcasing Cortese’s signature blend of nostalgic garage vibes and cutting-edge production. These are closely followed by two standout remixes: label boss Just Her delivers a deep and driving rework, while Jozef K, known for his immersive sonic textures, delivers a haunting atmospheric twist, each bringing a new flavour to appease any dance floor.

Completing the package is original street art from Brighton’s legendary graffiti artist Unknown, raw and unfiltered, drawing on the parallel between art and music. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

Following their successful releases on Chequered Wax, Fresh Take Records and Andras Records, Bristol & Brighton based duo Sonic Juncture, comprised of Josh Twigge-Molecey & George Protheroe, share their latest EP 'Planetary Pursuit' with Westival Records. 


Their opening track, 'XDimensional' hits us with an attention-grabbing sub bass that continues throughout, with a variety of synth textures and a running bassline to take the listener on a spook-filled, trancey journey from beginning to end.


The second track on the EP 'Thursday Groove' is driven by a rubbery bassline, jazzy chords, and crisp percussion. The track cruises through rich synth textures and subtle atmospheres, striking a perfect balance between laid-back groove and dancefloor intent.


'Find My Way' teases us with delayed, garage-like vocals and a mixture of energetic percussion combined with an arpeggiated bass, synthy riffs and tambourine sounds for the track's duration.


In true alignment with the EP's title, 'Planetary Pursuit' (Dub Mix) forms a progressive banger starting with saw tooth synth riffs and an 80s style snare, which make way for a groovy bass synth at the drop. The soulful vocals (Vocal Mix), saxophone reverbs and pipe-like synth throughout add further layers of differentiation to a chaotic yet atmospheric floor-stomper.
