The collaboration with Modular Project continues in 2019 with the release of 'Vivid Poison', their new single.
Alberto Iovine and Alessandro Fumagalli started to work together in 2015, joined by a strong love for music and vintage synths, and now they are running their own record label Nothing Is Real, spreading their music in Italy and around Europe.

Their electronic style is influenced by new wave and 80’s sound fusing powerful drums, pulsating synths for an emotional impact. ‘Vivid Poison' is the perfect example of this mixture.
Originally conceived after a jamming in the studio, after listening to a lot of Italo disco music, the song comes to life thanks to the collaboration with the artist Eleonora Zaripova.
The Russian-Tartarian artist now living in Berlin has a classical music education and jazz-experience. Her beautiful voice transmits fragility and strength, melancholy and soul, and fit perfectly with the music produced by Alberto and Alex, taking us back in time.

The release also includes two valuable remixes. After her debut on Rebirth in 2017 Perel is back on the label with two strong remixes combining the original vocals with her unique 90’s synth pop sound.
Tel Aviv artist Nadav Spiegel aka Autarkic, follows his productions on Disco Halal, Golf Channel and Turbo with a powerful remix, injecting his modern Israeli vibe, filthy, intensive yet emotional.

Modular Project feat. Eleonora - Vivid Poison (Autarkic Remix)

Roliva & Fausto, both producers coming from Culiacán (the infamous "El Chapo" hometown in the north of Mexico) team up for a wild and vicious theme inspired by artificial human extensions.

"'Prótesis' refers to all these new technologies and mobile devices that have become an extension of our person, sometimes even part of our body, just like a prosthesis, and his absence feels strange, that strange feeling when you've lost your phone or valuable information" mentions the duo.

Russian brothers Simple Symmetry deliver a stripped down club version, where every element needed to make the dancefloor explode is kept and maximized.

Welcome Guatemalan artist 'Fabio Me Llaman Soltero' and TYU on remix duties, as well as welcome back Mijo and Alejandro Veneno.

The title track is an ode to the willingness and strength of Honduran people, a set of lyrics (crazy power, tastes rich, brave fight, sun's mirror) underpinned by a mischievous and heady mix of analogue wobbles and bleeps rubbing up against a slight but ever so slightly menacing drum pattern.

Correspondant return with another cosmic tonic to combat these strange and turbulent times. Four slices of smouldering, sexy, groove-toned deep disco, perfect for any lockdown or socially distanced scenario you can possibly imagine, they come courtesy of Tel Aviv's Niv Ast who's been making a name for himself in all the right places; Nein, Duro, Ombra, Relish and of course this very label with two big cameos last year remixing Fort Romeau and appearing on the 'Nume'ro 2' collection. This is his debut EP for Correspondent and arguably his biggest EP to date; 'I Remember' sets the hazy, introspective mood with purring spoken word and salubrious instrumentation before 'Ninja's Mothership' goes all-out psychedelic with sweeping guitar blasts and a slinky, writhing groove. Deeper again we hit pure uncut funk in the form of 'Hyperball Superball' before 'Poisson d'Argent' brings home the silver... A hook-up with good friend Cornelius Doctor, and easily the heaviest piece of the release, it's a chugging cosmic finale laced with layers of textures and sounds to completely lose yourself within. Mexican label Innisfallen, curated by Montessori (FLXXX), is proud to present its second release. After featuring acclaimed Israeli artist Middle Sky Boom (remixed by Colossio, Azaria, and Alvaro Cabana) in its debut, this time the magic comes from the hands of French producer Did Virgo, who delivered two high-quality originals that come accompanied with two solid remixes provided by Italian Franz Scala and Mexican Die Jungle.

In a utopian world, machines are intended to be capable of running eternally after an initial boost without the need for any additional external energy due to the concept of perpetual motion. The title track seems to depict this utopian world. Listening to it is like immersing in a scenario in which the machines have taken control. The fat and absurd bass line plus the trippy and sublime synth layer could perfectly be the highlights of Did Virgo’s “Perpetual Motion”, but nothing can overcome the impressive and imposing siren-like synth riff of the theme. The energy and clout it deploys is undoubtedly its most striking feature, something the fans of apocalyptic sci-fi books/movies out there might like.

Dancing in the Sound Factory, End-Up, Ice Factory, Mayan, Orbit, the Cat Club and the underground of LA. I threw undergrounds in downtown Los Angeles and ran a legal warehouse for four years.
