Over the course of their 20-year partnership as Way Out West, Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff have amassed an enviable array of achievements. 

From reaching the top 20 in the UK singles chart and bringing their infamous live show to Glastonbury, to their acclaimed remixes for UNKLE, James Holden and BT, and now their respective solo careers as globe-trotting DJs. 

Seven years after their last album Warren and Wisternoff reunite for the their 5th LP, slated for release on Anjunadeep in 2016. The first piece of music to be debuted from the album is the stunning “Tuesday Maybe” first heard on the recent iTunes Dance #1 ‘Anjunadeep 07’ compilation. 

Haunting strings flow beneath mysterious vocals as subtle melodic textures ebb and flow around a hypnotic groove in this multi-layered beauty.

Hot Creations welcome the legendary Danny Tenaglia, as he delivers his first piece of solo produced music for more than a decade. On remix duty is one of the greatest DJs to grace the electronic music scene, Carl Cox, alongside exceptional New Jersey house producer Harry Romero.

Renowned as a mainstay in the house music scene due to his extensive back catalogue and iconic parties in Miami and Ibiza, Danny Tenaglia delivers a Don’t Turn Your Back to start proceedings. A slice of tuff New York house, it’s the rustling hi hats, infectious vocal and staggered percussion that give this a typical Tenaglia feel. One of America’s finest producers Harry Romero is up next to remix. Fast-paced with a subtly changing groove, it’s the addition of a John Scarpulla’s saxophone solo that creates a fiesta feel. Working together again, Scarpulla is Diana Ross' tour saxophonist who has featured in Harry’s previous tracks including Mongobonix. Awesome Soundwave head honcho Carl Cox serves up the next remix: a dynamic, heritage sounding house cut with flecks of glitchy acid and whirling synths, before his alternative ASW remix comes through with punchy kicks and more underlying acid tones.

Anjunadeep mainstay Luttrell releases new LP single ahead of the release of his forthcoming second album ‘Lucky Ones’. Exhibiting his exceptional sound design and bass heavy production, ‘What Do You Feel?’ demonstrates why Luttrell has been supported by the likes of Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Kölsch and Joris Vorn.

After a whirlwind 2019, which saw Eric Luttrell release his acclaimed debut solo album ‘Into Clouds’ on Anjunadeep, the San Francisco native makes a welcome return to the UK imprint with his second LP ‘Lucky Ones’. Kicking off this spring, Eric embarks on his most extensive headline tour to date, with 23 North American shows revealed so far, including a performance at the iconic Coachella festival, and more to be announced.

Whereas ‘Into Clouds’ was reflective of a transitional period in Eric’s life, Lucky Ones’ is a celebration of life. Anchored in themes of gratitude, the LP is a collection of 11 meticulously crafted cuts which see him draw from a deep pool of personal influences, including the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and The Prodigy, as well as his love for San Francisco, Burning Man, and time spent as a student in Berlin.

Jennifer Cardini shares the seventh installment in Correspondant's annual V/A compilation series. Enlisting a wide array of label regulars and talented newcomers, the comprehensive body of work traverses the forward-facing sound aesthetic Correspondant has crafted to pinpoint perfection. Among those talented label newcomers is Rotterdam-based trio Yør Kultura. Next to releases on Multi Culti and Laut & Luise, the project cemented their status with a standout two-tracker for Munich-based power house Permanent Vacation, earlier this year.

Supplying the opening track for 'Compilation 07', Yør Kultura voyages into trademark territory. Titled 'Space Montage', the trio's contribution merges their contemporary take on tribalism, bright melodical arrangements and chugging bassline constructions into a climaxing 6-minute conclusion.

Hungary's leading dark disco and leftfield dance outlet, Secret Fusion enlists Man2.0 for two brilliant new tracks that get remixed by Mufti, Re.You and label bosses Secret Factory. Man2.0 is Mark Bailey, a prolific producer from London with releases on Nein, Wonder Stories and Controlla. His obsession with forgotten 80s gems, EBM and sampling sounds out of toy instruments gives him a distinct sound that has won him plaudits from the Hacker, the Juan Maclean and his hero Andrew Weatherall, who played his most recent track on his NTS radio show. He kicks off this new EP with 'Hooked On U', which spits, hisses and fizzes with punky attitude and frazzled sound designs. The slapping drums and hits jerk you into action and the brooding bassline adds real menace. The excellent 'The Night We Went to the Sea' is more cosmically minded, with trippy synth sounds and sci-fi arps lighting up the space-disco grooves in real style. First to remix is Re.You, the German artist and Avotre associate with a fresh take on house. His version is typically tribal-tinged, with hypnotic drums and sustained pads all sinking you into a chunky groove. Mufti is the next remixer, a project from Bernardo Barrera of Guadalajara, this moniker comes after him being a part of Los Fugazzi and finds him focus more on rock variants and 80's music. His remix is a macho one with whirring machine sounds, dark vocoders and a building sense of tension that is futuristic and shadowy. The by now well-respected label bosses Secret Factory then add their own spin to close out the EP. It is an icy one, with scintillating chords layered up into an entrancing tech workout as curious effects litter the grooves. This is another essential package of new and pioneering electronic styles.
