The tyres let out a harsh screech as she pushed her foot down hard on the accelerator; she needed to get out of here, and quickly. The car lurched forward into the street and she was away, gradually getting faster and faster, her eyes fixated on her mirror to check whether they were on her tail yet. She was free for now but until she made it out of this godforsaken town, she knew she wasn't safe.

For his newest project, 'Next Wave Acid Punx', Berlin-based DJ and producer Curses brings together artists—past, present and future—for a celebration of his formative influences: new wave, EBM, post-punk and new beat. Released in three parts on Eskimo Recordings, the mammoth compilation features music from artists championing these sounds back in the 80s, like Yello, Front 242 and Suicide, to Curses' contemporaries, including Juan Maclean, Pablo Bozzi, Local Suicide, Skelesys and many more, who continue to draw inspiration from these early sonics.

Trampoliner (@trampolinersthlm) are proud to present the french power duo Kimshies (@kimshies). Peo Watson and Bijou Williams have known each other for more than 20 years now. In 2004, they produced "Chicago 72" together, releasing it on vinyl only. 500 copies went through different record stores and were being passed around until May 2018 when the public discovered it during Solomun's ‘Cercle' session in the magnificent Théâtre Antique d'Orange. The exposure & irony of the history pushed Peo & Bijou to return to the studio once more, and by the looks of it, they are here to stay. Having already had releases on renowned labels such as Nein, Aeon and Duro to name a few.

On TRAMPA009 they pick up where they last left off, with two proper Kimshies-style tracks to please any dancefloor. Teaming up with their countrymen and respected duo You Man for the title- and first track, turning it into a proper dancefloor blockbuster. The second track is no exception, letting their unique grunge-vibe shine through once again, leaving the listener longing for more. To complete this release, we have no other than Vilnius finest Roe Deers and Mexican sensation Mufti (@muftimx) on remix duties.

Friends since the PULP years, Jennifer Cardini and David Shaw have joined forces for a phenomenal project which will bring the dance floor walls crumbling down!
Their first encounter was at the Pulp, 10 years ago, where they spent the entire night (well almost) talking about their mutual taste for bands like Joy Division, the Smiths, Etienne Daho , Stinky Toys...to create their bonds which took a decade to actually emerge . It was the fantastic documentary “Paris is Burning”, which introduces the Voguing scene in New York in the 80’s, which inspired “In The Ballroom” and “Pepper Labeija”, the first fruit of their collaboration.

Following a debut EP on Golf Channel in 2015, Autarkic aka Nadav Spiegel has risen in status alongside his close friends and collaborators Red Axes and Moscoman. His recent debut LP for Disco Halal has garnered critical acclaim. Spiegel clearly has a rare talent as a songwriter, crafting the kind of intelligent, left-field pop music that one usually has to look back to the avant-garde of the 1980s to find.  If things were more downtempo, experimental and psych rock on his first EPs, these tracks for Turbo point squarely at the dance-floor, and have been staples in the sets of not only Moscoman and Red Axes, but in the other rising stars of the underground Israeli scene around labels like Malka Tuti and Fortuna records, as well as the global groove empire developing around Turbo A&R Thomas Von Party’s Multi Culti. Humans are a strange species. They can send a people into space, they can make vast habitats in seemingly inhospitible areas, they can split atoms. However, they have a penchant for overpopulation, war and hubris. Why are they such a pain?
Madric Based Rotten City Records present Damon Jee and Snem K's latest EP, Dear Humans. 
Damon AKA Jerome Da Silva has been on a run of hot form since recent remixes for ROAM and Night Noise and that run continues on his collaboration with Snem K which features remixes from Mugwump and Demian.
The title track is a record which keeps the groove rolling while taking on subject matter which could bum out a dancefloor; however, bubbly echo effects Damon's trademark beefy kick drum and Snem's overlapped vocal delivery ensures that no one will leave.
Big dramatic bassy punches sound as much like a war cry as it does an invitation to dance. Delay ridden toms and a booming rolling bassline accompany a vocal which questions humanity, at a point where questioning humanity is probably the most apt thing to do.
