Italian producer @DinoLenny is the Fine Human Records label head who has been making music since the 90s. He's remixed huge names such as Missy Elliott and Timbaland and has collaborated with everyone from Madonna to Wu Tang Clan to Seth Troxler & Dixon. He has been named 'A wizard of electronic music' by the Chemical Brothers, played live with Underworld, released music on the likes of Innervisions, Diynamic & Correspondant, and is currently signed to Ellum.

For his debut release on @Roam-Recordings, Lenny delivers a stunning EP titled 'Tokyo'. The original mix showcases Lenny's original vocals woven into a dance ballad that could fit into any classic set of 80s electronica.

On remix duties are The Black Mami and long time Roam alumni Damon

First Listen: Dominik Marz - Forever

Leading Mexican label Duro welcome countryman Rigopolar for four of his fantastically expansive and expressive disco tunes.

The now US based Rigopolar is a cosmic explorer and space sound aficionado with credits on the likes of Tom Tom Disco dating back five or so years. His mix of disco and techno has taken him to gigs round the world, podcasts for Soma and remixes on the likes of Beat is Murder.

Brilliant opener ‘Black Mantis’ is a spooky cut with a mysterious lead that takes you into a mystic forest. The drums move things on as sci-fi sounds and withering synths add details to this most evocative musical story. ‘Espiral’ is a colourful, psychedelic scandi-disco classic with looping arps taking you ever further into the stars. Its craftsmanship is second to none as it draws you deeper and deeper in.

The scintillating ‘Time’ is another lush cut with plenty of glistening and glowing synths. Always ascending through the mix, they lift your spirits and hands in equal measure while the deeper drums keep your feet moving. Last of all is ‘Crashes’, a slower and more melancholic track that is paired back to a steamy vocal and rolling drums. A poignant one-finger melody brings tenderness to this brilliantly introspective closer.

This is an exceptional trip though timeless disco with a difference.

Long-time Correspondant correspondent Theus Mago returns to the label with four more extra-terrestrial funk blends via their 'Osla' EP. Bringing a little Duro damage to the mix, it’s best we buckle up. 

‘Yeo & Ushwaka’ delivers "a rapid river of acid on a speed boat powered by chunky, shoulder-switching drum machine soul while space-funk stampede." Like all Mago’s work, it’s a one of a kind trip.

Premiere: Theus Mago 'Yeyo & Ushwaka'

Mexican music manufacturer Iñigo Vontier continues to ride the wave of psychedelic infused electronics to great resolution. Following the release of last month's taster, titled the 'Xu Xu' EP, Vontier returns to Chloé's creatively liberating Lumière Noire Records for the release of his debut album. Spread across 9 tracks, his first leap in long player territories sees the Latin American DJ and producer embark on an innovative exploration of demented grooves, psychedelic take-offs and imaginary comic strips of mystical rituals.

For the occasion, the Calypso Records head honcho has called upon a group of closely associated adventurers to collaborate. In the case of 'Awaken', the track we've the pleasure of airing here today, we witness the reinstallation of the already battle proven combination of Iñigo Vontier, together with Thomas Von Party and John Shape under their Drugface alias. A slowly developing burner that glides towards an unraveling dimension of hypnosis is the result, before its ethereal releasing point kicks in midway.
