They could be rising stars, they could be veteran pioneers, they could be any level in between; either way, every artist who contributes to the ‘Numéro’ series is a kindred Correspondant spirit. They understand where the label is heading… And where your dancefloor needs to be.
‘Numero 01’ sets the scene as high levels of interstellar drama persist in all directions from a whole troupe of new friends; Damon Jee’s evocative cinematic ‘Ride Alone’ instantly sucks us into the narrative and it’s followed by a whole chain of singular chapters; EDE’s spellbinding choral fusion ‘Ensemble’, Jenia Tarsol & Jinga’s endlessly rising sci-fi funk odyssey ‘Hold Your Pony’, Joris Biesmans’ cathedral like progression session ‘Helene’ and the genuinely grand finale ‘Jupiter Express’. Tulioxi is one of the new great personalities of the Italian Nu Disco Scene. He Has published at least thirtyworks, among EP's, singles and collaborations with other artists.

Tulioxi has established himself as one of the most interesting talents of the new Italian Disco Scene for thelast 10 years. His Works are well respected amid the international community of Indie Disco Artists and hisname has been circulating into the inner circle of DJs and producers from all over the world.

For the last decade, his released music shows how creative and prolific he is, keeping his productions at avery high level in terms of originality and experimentation, and his search for a personal sound isconfirmed in every new work.

He is one of the masterminds behind Cosmic Sumo Recordings and one of the developers of MEFF, theannual Modular synthesizer Exhibition Fair in Florence, tied to the brand Tiptop Audio, one of the mostpopular synth module manufacturers in Eurorack format.

The tenth reference of the digital series of Dogs & Vultures Records is signed by the Mexican producer Montessori aka Alfredo Cardenas in collaboration with the producer,DJ and vocalist Badmoiselle (Montessori is also part of the FLXXX project and the Label Innisfallen Records with Andrés Gomez aka Andrem), . Aircraft Reel and Fanjoyen are the original cuts of the ep, built under a line clearly focused on the dance floor and with a fine balance between the early hours of the night or those of a good after. The remixes come in charge of the Mexicans Rigopolar and Colossio, both well known in the scene and with a great doing in all their productions. Also the Italians Younger Than Me, more focused this time on their sound '90's rave' than in previous productions, and the French Dombrance, component of the band DBFC and Recently interviewed by strong media like Vanity Fair or the television channel France 24 by the success of their new album, ''Raffarin'' they will also be able to listen to the work of DBFC in the Gucci Men's Fall / Winter 2014-15 Runway Show! British “outsider-electronic duo“ Cowboy Rhythmbox return to Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sound with a  none-existing musical approach up to date from the cowboys Nathan Gregory Wilkins and Richard X themselves. As Detroit producer Sharif Laffrey took on remix duties for CR's 6AM Nathan and Richard remixed the remix of the track, expressing their appreciation of Sharif's work. The result of the remix remix, simply called Deviation Variation, falls into the category creative remarkableness. A lush yet bouncey bass line is equipped with sharp reverbing chords and blurry synths while partly implemented filter hi-hat rides and mono-alternating vocal-snippets are swaying from left to right. The remix reaches musical exellence once the disorted and echoing chord sequence makes its appearance adding a warm vitalness to the wild west Detroit-shooting.

Theus Mago serves up a hypnotising triplet of tracks on the ‘Apache Nights’ EP for Dave Harvey’s Futureboogie, each cut brimming with psychedelic tendencies and an assured chugging pace, and British stalwarts, Chicken Lips, are on hand with a tantalising remix. 

Hailing from Mexico, Theus Mago may also be familiar to many as the man behind Bufi, and across both aliases, has released singles and albums for the likes of Electrique Music, Turbo, Roam Recordings, and his own Duro imprint.

‘Apache Nights’ is built upon an irresistible booming dudwise b-line and tight and lively rhythm section, as esoteric melodies and trippy samples & tones pan across the sound board.  British duo, Chicken Lips, have admirably served many year’s service in the alt.disco genre, and alongside their ground-breaking productions on Kingsize and Azuli, are probably more renowned for the raft of remixes turned in over the years for everyone from Newcleus to Simian Mobile Disco, Ladyhawke to Tiga, Ennio Morricone to Soul Mekanik.  For their ‘Chicken Lips Malfunction’ of ‘Apache Nights’, we’re slapped around the chops with a gargantuan nine-minute night ride!

Signed by Belgian rising talent Strapontin and including remixes by Damon Jee and Thomass Jackson, 10th Hard Fist release is on the way. ‘The End of Logic’, as the title says, is an ode to nonsense for the pleasure of absurdity that strongly echoes today’s context: a world going mad.
 
Being the first vinyl EP of Strapontin, the music here is a solution to escape the widespread pessimism and an injunction to look for happiness. Strapontin flies over a not right-thinking society with derision. More clubby as ever, the record also has something very unusual, a frenetic pace which always comes when we do not expect it.
 
To emphasize the senselessness, the multi-talented artist created with his boyfriend Yvan Megal a video game: ‘Nervous Days’ which is the first track of the EP. The game is a mad rush for virtual recognition, underscoring people's egocentricity.
 
The strong singularity in this piece comes from the cross-disciplinary skills of Patrick Belmont aka Strapontin who is a visual artist, a performer and a producer. He started to release music under Strapontin in 2014 after spending 15 years learning music and studying fine art. Dark can be fun, disco can be sad, violence can be pleasant. Strapontin is not a man afraid of trying new things. Signed to the labels Optimo, I’m A Cliché, la Belle or Nein Records, the Belgian artist has crafted his own style located somewhere in an unknown land between post punk, tribal downtempo and dark disco. With heavy, sensual beats, other-worldly vocals and cavernous basslines, his view of music is adventurous and mindful with a taste of queerness. You probably have caught him lately remixing Karpov Not Kasparov, Golden Bug, Vox Low or brilliantly editing bombs for I’m A Cliché. He’s also part of different dance collectives, usually working as a soundtrack composer, which has influenced his uncompromising music for years. 
With ‘The End of Logic’ Hard Fist signs here his most mature project since it started 3 years ago. This felt like an opportunity for a new artwork collaboration with a cover signed by the Paris-based illustrator Leo Marsal who introduced his own extravagance (with color!) in the Hard Fist universe.

Straighter, Harder, Faster... made to kill the dance floor. Figurehead of the Dark Disco mouvement, Damon Jee takes the EBM and industrial influence of Strapontin’s original to build this monster dancing tool. A perfect meeting between two worlds, influencing each other for the best. PLEASE, RE-OPEN THE CLUBS!
