Born 9 years ago
Horse Chestnut was her birthing tree
Then she began to grow

First she was a wee brown bear
And then a Ladybird
Then she became a dinosaur..
(at least the last I heard)

Now you may look at dinosaurs
and think they are no more
but they have lived in Minnie's world;
8, 7, 6, 5, 4!

Yes, all these years they've stomped around
from bed to birthday tea
And all these years they've stood their ground
since she was only 3.

And Once Upon a Birthday treat
to Minnie Mikhaila's shores
'How To Train Your Dragon' came
to join the dinosaurs

So Minnie and the Perry Cats
lived side by side with these
and never minded when the breath
of dragon made them wheeze

And didn't even blink to see
a dragon on the stair
nor flinch when dragons threw their flames
(which happened here and there) 

And by the way a 'Holly' came
a gnomely sister friend
to join the creatures big and small 
in Attic Perry Land

So there they grew and rolled about
on carpet nice and thick
(for girls dragons and dinosaurs 
wear out a carpet quick!)

a starfish-scribe so fine

And she’ll become… Oh so much more
Before she is full-grown
