A Remix of "Hit and Run" by Breathe Carolina. I created this for a remix contest. I used all of the techniques I had learned at that point. Filters and resonance were used for the vocals and synths. I quantized the synth instruments that I added and for the first time, I chopped vocals and rearranged them. "Don't wanna hit and run," was turned into "I wanna hit and run." Hence the name of the remix.

In this track I used software instruments and mixed synths, drums and distortion to give it an alternative rock sound. As always, quantization was my friend. It's name after the first instrument I used to create it as my tracks commonly do.

Sequence Element

This was created in 2012. I experimented with different types of drums and quantization. The bass and synth sound Reggae ish to me so that's what I called it.

A track I made years ago with Garageband 6. I named it after the instrument that it starts with. I used filters on the pianos and the drums are from iKaossilator.

Chime In

Another track created using Garageband 6 from a few years ago. I used filters and auto wa on the snares and layered the synths and bass. 

Lite Blue

This track created with Garageband 6 has an instrument called Harmonic Guitar. That's where the name comes from. Not much else going on there. As always quantization was my friend.

Harm Guitar

Garageband 6 creation. Layered the drums. I used a resonance filter with echoes on  some random audio to create the abstract sound that can be heard throughout the track. This is one of many tracks I created for friends and their freestyle rap battles. 

Mellow Guitar

Inspired by Supa Hot Fire, this was created in Garageband 6 for my friends to freestyle rap battle to. I used all of the techniques I had learned at the time. I used filters, auto wa, and quantization on the high hats. I also layered the instruments to make them sound louder and  fuller. 

Supa Hot

A hip-hop beat for friends to freestyle to. This was my first time playing around with a modulation wheel which is how I made the pitch bend effect that plays throughout the song. This is by far one of my favorite tracks.

Worldpad

I made this in 2015 using Garageband 10. I layered the bells and bass instruments. It's one of my longer tracks. While this version of garageband allows me to do a lot of the same things, it offers much more interesting software instruments.

One of my favorite tracks created using Garageband 10. I use all of the techniques I've learned over the years. The synths, drums and bass are layered. I use filters to build up the beat and i used multiple synths to harmonize with each other.

Creaper -

I created this today using Logic! That's right! Logic Pro 10.2 is accessible now! I layered the bases, used stereo delay on the drums, reverbs and tremolos on the synths and a low cut EQ in the very beginning. I still have a lot to learn but I sure have come a long way.

Slides

A new edit of a track I posted a few weeks ago. It was created using Garageband 10 and was edited with Logic Pro X. Overall, the track is about 1 minute longer and has more instruments and effects. I gave the drums reverb and chorus so that they have more of a presence. I also added some new 8 bit and crushed drums/high hats to mix things up a bit.

My first attempt at creating the infamous dubstep drops. Some of the techniques I used are Filters to lead up to the drops, layering the drums to make them sound bigger, stereo delays and reverb. I used a compressor on the master track. Another first for me. If you'll notice, this track is louder then the rest of my tracks. I named it Challengers Theme because it sounds like theme music for a battle arena.

An update to a track I created with Garageband 10 and edited with Logic Pro X. I used compressors, high cut and low cut to clean up the sound and get rid of distortion, used stereo spread modulation on the drums and a compressor on the master track. I call this Creeper because I used filters at certain points to make it sound like its creeping up.

Take off

I'm a jack of many trades and master of none. Amateur musician with some knowledge of music theory and some experience performing. The rest I make up as I go along. I play some guitar and piano. Nowadays I'm trying my hand at this production thing using Garageband.
