I've played around with the idea of procedurally generated music, but this takes it a step further.

Haha, awesome narrative throughout the song (your comments). It adds a whole other, more "objective", perspective of the song. That in combination the the inherent, raw emotion that shines through in the song makes for a great combination :)

The same process is used here, except the drum beat hasn't been cut up with dissociated arrays, and we are now sampling from 5 different tracks.

Here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-means_clustering is used to cluster the segments of 23e – Dubstyle-arkasia-new-world into 6 groups according to similar timbre. The same is done for the breakbeat track. Then the clusters of each track are paired up according to closeness in timbre similarity, and the breakbeat "plays" the original song by picking random segments from each related paired-up cluster. Does that make sense?
