C-Mitch was born Cortney Mitchell in Fort Worth, TX. He moved to San Antonio, TX at age 3. He was raised around a musical family with his mom being a big fan of Blues and R&B, while his Dad constantly listened to and was influenced by Tupac Shakur. C-Mitch decided to pick up a pen and try to make music of his own at the age of 12 through poetry and writing stories, which influenced his ability to write rhymes. He started off in a group called "Swisha Sweet" which didn't workout because of differences. He eventually continued with a solo career in which he created Fae Ent which orginally had 2 artists (Fae comes from C-Mitch and Mike Breads grandmother who was very influential). He decided to put his music career on hold after a short time, to join the military and as a result, he experienced different types of music genres and cultures. After a few years he came back to San Antonio and begin creating a group of talented Hip Hop and R&B artists. He was influenced by artists such as Sublime, Lauryn Hill, Z-ro, Tupac, etc. C-Mitch has been featured on Projects such as "We All We Got" featuring fellow artist Staxx . He dropped a solo Mixtape called "Just a Mixtape " which did extremely well. He also opened up for acts such as MMG, Lil O, G spot boyz etc
