13-year-old Sarah Ewan wrote this poem in 2017. It was chosen as the title work for our school's poetry anthology but I took it a step further and set it to music. This is the result. Sarah also sings the backing vocals beautifully!

Wildflowers

In 1992, I had to complete a theme project for art class. I chose oil on canvas and the concept was album cover art. I had written a bunch of songs by then so I started arranging them into loosely-themed groups. This particular group had a strong theme:  the Dreamworld. In 2019 I decided to revisit those album covers from my high school art days. I reimagined them digitally and the result for this album inspired me to revisit the music. This is a new demo of the lead track, the one that introduces the dreaming protagonist to the world of Morpheus and his ilk. Listen to it in headphones to get the most out of it.
