D-Nox is back on Einmusika. This time he teamed up with Tel Aviv based producer Stereo Underground. "Dolby" is a straight forward progressive tune with a nice wide atmosphere. "Salt & Pepper" is more calm and dreamy with a pulsating bassline. Philipp Kempnich turned "Salt & Pepper" into a fresh breakbeat version.

With their subfrequency engines run hot, Green Lake Project recently made a stop at a certain pub at the outermost corner of the galaxy. Coincidentally, they met a time-travelling singer / groovewriter named Andy’s Echo who was passing through from some place in the future. The rest of that night became a spectacle of truly cosmic dimensions... Here’s a rare recording of that event, making it accessible through terrestrial ears: The Breach is heaving Space Techno with the emotive soul of a voice dancing on its liquid surface. This memorable dancefloor event is complemented by a masterfully crafted remix from DJ and producer veteran D-Nox. Also, GLP shared with us a hyperreal simulation named Storm At The Moon. A melody spreads through the human mind like some kind of technicoloured star dust, and the human body control surrenders ever so imperceptibly to the hypnotic functionality of the tight rhythm.

Wie es der Zufall wollte sind sie dort einem zeitreisenden Sänger und Groovemacher namens Andy's Echo aus der Zukunft begegnet. Ergänzt wird dieses denkwürdige Dancefloor-Ereignis von einem meisterlich geschliffenen und polierten Remix aus der Hand von DJ- und Produzenten-Veteran D-Nox. Außerdem teilen GLP die lebensechte Simulation von Storm At The Moon mit uns. Eine Melodie breitet sich im menschlichen Denkapparat aus wie das Programmiercode-Fragment einer künstlichen Intelligenz, und die Körperkontrolle gibt sich unbemerkt dem auf hypnotische Funktionalität optimierten Rhythmus hin.

The much anticipated "Layers Of Meaning' album from Brazilian label favourite Felipe Novaes arrives on D-Nox's much loved Sprout label.

His music has graced Univack, Clubsonica, ICONYC and more, this talented DJ and producer is rising through the ranks, and with several releases under his belt for this German imprint already, the time was right for Felipe to showcase 12 gems as his new album project.

We are given a sneek peak with this album sampler, as 4 gems are sparkling brightly for you right here.

The title track 'Layers Of Meaning' oozes warmth and dreamy tinge, but is punchy and full of a smiley energy emanating from within. Big stuff!

Teaming up with Nine One for 'Scent Of A Memory', this gem picks up the pace, and brings a melodic and melancholic dramatic flavour, as this peak time club 'moment' really tugs at your heart strings. Seemingly ever building, this is a large one!

If you're an up-and-coming producer whose debut release is commanding the attention of Roman Flügel, Mano Le Tough and Bicep, it's safe to say you're doing something right. Hailing from Belfast, LOR is doing just that; his focus on hypnotic melodies and subtle experimentation gaining support from big names across the world of techno and underground electronica.

LOR's aforementioned debut release is in fact a 3-track set of remixes, on which the Irishman puts his spin on tracks from three very different musical heavyweights: Derrick Carter, Arthur Russell and Kraftwerk - the latter of which particularly peaked interests here at DT. Adapting the pioneering German band's distinctive sound to fit a more danceable framework, LOR crafts a haunting slice of techno that proves infinitely more exciting than the original to ears spoilt by the current sea of forward-thinking electronica.

Accompanying each track is a video also created by LOR. The producer has a penchant for building complex patterns from simple computer code, so he's knocked up entrancing clips that look halfway between MS-DOS and a Spirograph set. Check it out over on YouTube:

Usually noted for their solo performances, Einmusik step into the studio banding together with D-Nox and Beckers for a versatile heavy four-tracker. Einmusik builds up two constructions reminiscent of his live sets, expertly crafting ambiances that drive the listener into a trance. While on Sirens the focal point is a downward winding synth that instantly grabs attention, Sweet Spot offers a perfect counter with its ascending layers. On the flipside, you might remember D-Nox from the Schneeweiss compilation, and the German performer stays true to his style. Both Escape and his collaboration with Beckers deliver an engrossing groove, with a spellbinding bassline that sets a trippy mood. While Escape sets the tone and makes for an interesting development in a set, Mechanism makes a great tool for sustaining the intensity on an unassertive yet energetic way.
