on February 16th, 2026, between 6PM and 7PM (EST), I took over DWELLER RADIO's airwaves, live from a delightfully warm and wholesome studio nested in Brooklyn, New York. as part of this year's iteration and amazing return, Dweller hosted its first 26-hour radio broadcast, propelled by 999RADIO, SLICK DOWN & Dweller,  highlighting 28 brilliant African and Afrodescendant sonic weavers. 

what a delight it was to be part of this niggarific sonic odyssey alongside such kind and talented beings. 

for this offering, numerous intentions, desires, and needs molded what I sonically weaved.  embodied hope; what does a world where love is a popular movement look like, feel like? "love will win the day, we will be ok," how can I musically convey this feeling right before a new beginning? we (African and Afrodescendant people) have kept the common language of (the) drums, how can I sonically render the way we mirror each other across time, space, and movement(s) through an hour-long sonic voyage? niggarific stuff only - a reminder, an incantation, a prayer, that we'll be ok. [...] these are some of the many key words and questions that guided my sonic contribution to DWELLER RADIO's first 26-hour sonic odyssey. 

as always, discrepancies arose between what I initially planned to do and what  (beautifully) unfolded - this iteration is therefore edited to bridge the gap between what was, what is, and what could have been.

For the first time, we’re bridging our world with Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang (Montreal, Canada), welcoming G L O W Z I to our platform for a deeply intentional sonic offering.
Born gloria-sherryl françois, G L O W Z I is an archivist and interdisciplinary artist whose work reaches through time and space. Rooted in Ayiti’s diasporic culture and guided by kinship and Black feminist ethos, their practice moves through sound, texture, memory and connection, weaving together lineages that hold both the artist and the listener.

For this transmission, G L O W Z I invites us into “an ode to those who dare to waltz with grief as courageously as they embrace the things and beings they love.” Expect Caribbean deep cuts, South African soulful reminders of love, spacy funk instrumentals, ancestral echoes and heartwarming gems woven into a mix that gently accompanies the many motions of love:  at its beginning, while it blossoms, or long after it has vanished.
