We're thrilled to present Camel Riders' brand new V/A - 'Everlust' (Compiled by Seel)

This compilation includes 25 multicultural stories crafted by a diversity of returning artists and new members of our family. Everlust (Compiled by Seel) masterfully blends a colorful palette of exquisite electronic sounds and genres, such as Downtempo, Deep House, and Indie Dance, with a wide range of organic elements and instruments. This fusion creates a diversity of profound and mesmerizing tales, displaying different perspectives from multiple backgrounds and cultures. Everlust is here to remind us that all humans are mortal and our lives on planet Earth are limited. On the other hand, the sounds created by humans with the use of their instruments and machines, all assembled in logical patterns, are timeless and eternal. We’ll always have an immense desire for it, as it invokes so many feelings and is continuously present in countless aspects of our lives. We can’t imagine life without music. It is an element that is common to all cultures worldwide since the beginning of humanity. From Tanzania to Japan and way beyond - Music is EVERLUST.

This collection has been gathered by our dear friend and an established member of the Camel Riders family - Johny P. Gavish aka SEEL. Johny is a solid figure in the Israeli electronic scene for over a decade. He has been producing music since 2014 under the name JOHNY PABLO, displaying his elegant darkish vibe in some of the most colorful gatherings in Israel, Europe, and the USA. In 2018, Johny launched his new project ‘SEEL’, which displays an emotive and optimistic approach, fusing sophisticated electronica with live instruments, all framed with a slowish and very pleasurable tempo.

Beat Battle 110 hosted by friend @abbey8k -  To make an "Amapiano" track. OK, so I had to do a bit of research here (as I had no clue). Log drum bass (thanks for the free log drum from Decent Sampler/Piano Book), Drums courtesy of UJAM's new "KAYA" Beatmaker plugin and Piano from Heavyocity's "Allure" felt upright. Just a question of layering various synths and instruments on top. I relied heavily on Arturia's free Amapiano preset pack for Pigments for most of the other elements. Not sure I nailed the genre - it might be a bit too different from most Amapiano tracks out there...

Lagartijeando has produced a very special EP with a choir from an indigenous tribe called Coro Qom Chelaalapi. The choir formed as a means of passing down their culture to future generations in the absence of any formal records. They have been declared a living cultural heritage by UNESCO. Blending traditional songs with brooding beats and big grooves, The Revisión EP is a unique and special collaboration exploring the tribe’s rich musical heritage with contemporary production.

The original songs have a mythology and their bespoke instruments have deep significances. The nivike is a single string violin (representing the sounds made by a jaguar sharpening its claws on a tree trunk) and was used as a form of communication to contact loved ones or to find love amongst the mountain dwellers.

On 'Lapacho' Lagartijeando lays down a big groove to accompany the choirs’ infectious vocals. It is about a tree that when in bloom signifies the start of marriage season.

Ethnically inspired turkish Istanbul based producer Sarmoung offers us another sample of his skills. 
With Aman he reinterprets an old traditional Turkish/Greek song where a doctor is implored to heal the heart of a young man.
With his subtle rhythms, the sensitive disharmonies and his synth sounds Sarmoung creates the pain and the despair of the young protagonist impressively.
Hopefully with this interpretation he will be cured.
