Kida is a french artist based in Paris and member of the music & scenography collective @revegeneralcollectif. Kida is fascinated by the ability to translate emotions through music and storytelling. In each set, she creates a sort of dream, a story mixing both inexplicable and familiar elements. Kida’s sets provide a space to feel a lot, and to get lost in the depths of sound.

The story of how this mix came about, starts when Laura called me and asked me to host Martin for a night. As luck had it, we were in the middle of a spontaneous chill rave house party at my place. We played this mix taking turns in a stream of unplanned collaboration. Lazily jumping across the sofa and guests to mix the next track in seconds before it ended. After listening to it for the second time I found it worth a publish. My friend Emily who was also there drew this wave she thought perfect for the cover.
