Sabía que para dormir bien debería llegar a hacerlo. ¿Hallaste las diez verdades del día? Tula no distingue ya la verdad de la mentira. Su alma seguía hambrienta. ¿te reíste hoy lo suficiente? Quizás. Pero de dónde la angustia, el nudo en el estómago. ¿estás en paz con dios y con el diablo? Y Tula rumiando. Las preguntas del sabio, la soledad, la noche, la ausencia, el corazón sangrando. Resignada, esperaba el día. Un calor sofocante inundaba su cuarto, y a esas horas solo deseaba despertar sobre el mar. Parece que al señor de los sueños le dio pena, porque finalmente vino por ella. Cerró sus párpados. Tocó su boca. Se apoderó de sus pensamientos, como dice el sabio. Tula, sin pensamientos, liviana como una pluma, se dejó llevar por extraños mundos de amor y locura.
