Naam Ghosa (Assamese: নামঘোষা) is a Vaishnavite scripture of verses in praise of Lord Krishna. This book was written by Madhabdev in Assamese in about 1568–1596. It extols the practice of chanting the name of the deity as the most efficacious means of devotion.

Based on the imagination of Naam, I tried to depict my perception of sounds.

On a voyage for the last 3 years, Cosmic Brahma went to find the friendship of bonding through sounds, and finally found 7 jewels with whom he personified a true journey for the people of the world.
Friendship is the most important aspect of life irrespective of caste, community, creed and believe. "Bondhu" in the eastern regional language of India means "Friendship". The album consists of 7 collaboration tracks and 3 solo tracks which denotes the true imagination behind every track while keeping the bond of friendship alive.
This is the first full length album of Cosmic Brahma.

Cosmic Brahma - Live Set - Summer 2021  (Yogamaya EP Promo)

Below are the kanji characters used in “Sonkei”.
尊 : a kanji character widely used to mean dignity.
敬 : a kanji character widely used to mean respect or the act of respecting.

From these two kanji characters, we can understand that “Sonkei” literally means ‘dignity and respect’. This kanji concept sounds a bit gorgeous, I think. Still, it is in line with the meaning, ‘respect’.

My newest upcoming track is based around this Kanji characters which means respect. Releasing in a compilation, compiled by talented DJ yu-ji Ledesma from Japan which will be out in Brahmasutra Records soon.

Cosmic Brahma is the alter ego project of Abhishek Chakraborty from India. His sounds are chosen especially to paraphrase the many mind-altering stories and experiences of real-life people. In his journey, of 17 years…and counting, he saw himself evolve from DJ Abbhy back in from 2002 into Cosmic Brahma in 2009. Presently, he has two more projects -- Alankaar (Progressive Trance) and Digital Decibel (Techno). Cosmic Brahma’s focus lies in Twilight Psytrance with its forest bassline and crunchy leads and synths, and samples of live recorded sounds for the FX.
