Cosmic Vibrations is a 4-piece jangle pop, psych rock outfit from The Hills District, New South Wales. 
Lead singer, Joshua Span started the project as a solo artist in early 2014 using FL studio in his bedroom to create dreamy, jazzy tunes and has been releasing and re-writing songs ever since. Drawing influence from artists like Mac Demarco, Cosmo Pyke, Mild High Club and Yellow Days with their jangly chorus guitars and also very inspired by the slacker rock appearance and feats. 

Across 2 years while releasing music online (later to be an album named “bedroom demos”), asked around the high school to form the band to bring the bedroom pop songs to life and bring their own songs to the table too. The original songs now morph to a psychedelic pop experience that is found by no other. The “bedroom demos” whilst still being a solo project, got a single hearty review by a French music blogger who coined the genre as ‘martian pop’, and that term grew on the group and they have decided to call the style martian pop.

The “bedroom demos” will be brought to the studio with the band soon, with the release will follow a tour around Sydney at our favourite pubs and a music video for “Baby Blue”.
