After making it through yet another lengthy and grey Berlin winter, DJ and producer Cosmic Cherry put together “Malibu” to have you dream of warmer, friendlier places. A summery, mellow house track with airy vocals and a punchy bass line that takes you to your favorite destinations. Using her own voice in German, she longs for those times where you can smell the salt water in the air and dance through mild summer nights.

Cosmic Circuit is an event series and radio show curated by Berlin-based DJs @ansonicamusic & @eclectic_elektra. Here they invite @cosmic_cherry, who has started making an impact on Berlin´s club scene and beyond, having played regularly at clubs such as Watergate, Renate and Katerblau and releasing on labels as Alzaya records, Trampoliner and Blau Numbers. 

Through her distinctive genre-defying sound which blends dreamy progressive house with techno and proto-trance she often catches the listener by surprise.

Having lived on three different continents, Cosmic Cherry's sets are a portrayal of various local influences. Always digging for the sometimes obscure, rare type of music, she has made regular performances at Berlin’s local institutions such as Watergate, Renate and Kater Blau, and regularly plays in other cities and countries.

Her sets transcend different genres, as she blends progressive house with percussive rhythmic treasures, powerful proto-trance with disco and sometimes old-school techno. She has also released her first music with labels such as Alzaya, Blaq Numbers, and Trampoliner, and will be releasing new music soon.

After moving to Berlin in 2018, @cosmic_cherry has started leaving her mark on the local club scene and beyond, through her fun and distinctive sound, combined with her unconventional approach to music. As a former Vice World champion in artistic roller skating, the joy of dancing and movement has always played a major part of her life. 

Blending a variety of music like House, high-energy Disco, percussive tribal sounds, and Trance, she has also started releasing her own music with labels such as Frank Music, Alzaya Records, Trampoliner, and Blaq Numbers.
