2nd Phase are Techburst (and Outburst residents) and are some of the most versatile producers that we have on our roster. They're back with a follow up to their heavily supported 'Agenda 21' release. It's called 'Protocol' and is one of their toughest sounding releases to date. With an extremely powerful kickdrum and bassline partnership, the awesome sub bass rumble definitely dominates this track. Traditional sounding techno chord stabs and rolling vocal samples are cleverly scattered throughout to add groove. They are later complimented by a sinister detuned synth section in the main break that adds 'menace' to the overall feel. One of the undoubted leaders of the hard techno scene, Darmec, steps up for remix duties and yet again shows us why he has scored so many Beatport #1's. He puts his own stamp on the release and adds that Darmec touch that we all love. Techno releases don't come much bigger than this, check it out!

Larry Cadge is back this month with another cracking release titled ‘Starseeds’. Lined up for a release in February on Smiley Fingers, this is the latest in a long line of releases that have cemented Larry’s status as a reliable source of quality cuts.

Larry’s latest output is a deep techno banger that carries you on a space journey made of a strong groove, infectious bass riffs, atonal and ambience sounds and a great vocal. Welded together with atmospheric pads and reverb soaked undertones ‘Starseeds’ is a beautifully crafted Techno meets Deep Tech production.
The hypnotic off-beat hats do just enough to create a dreamy groove that bonds together the other percussive elements without ever becoming complicated or overcooked.
Our space trip continues and Larry bring us to another planet called “Echoes”, a tribal tech house banger with deep atmosphere, the perfect tool for every set, with its enthralling bass line, groovy percussions and tribal vocals that will stuck in your mind.

Undoubtedly a highly proficient producer Larry is once again proving why over 18,000 House and Techno lovers are following his story. With some of the most selective underground labels in electronic music already pushing his sounds – he’s no newbie to this game and is a popular selection for those in the know. Ingrained in House and Techno, but free from limitations in influences from across the board, his sound is distinctive, fresh and does the job on the dance floor every time.

After appearing on A-Sides Volume 4 at the start of 2016, Ilario Alicante now makes his full debut on the label. He has quickly established himself as a key player amongst a new crop of techno artists and truly is one of the brightest stars in the game. His skills behind the decks have seen him tour the globe with Cocoon, as well as appear at the likes of elrow, Lovefest and We Are FSTVL.

Opening with ‘Times’, the EP gets off to a flying start as the track rages straight into top gear, rolling through 6 minutes of pure power. This is a peak time tool that is set to be heard across dance floors worldwide this year. ‘Awakened’ you may have heard from Adam Beyer’s sets of late, a firm favourite which gets his much sought after seal of approval. Rampant syths and mesmerizing vocal hooks all make it one hell of a journey. ‘Sense’ is a more industrial affair, chunky basslines take your hand through the track as it charges on. It’s that classic deep Ilario Alicante sound we all know and love. The EP finishes off on ‘Apogeo’, with its hypnotic siren tones and acute percussion. One thing is for sure, Ilario Alicante is in a league of his own.

Every so often we get something so unique that it catches us off guard. This is one of those releases! With 'Contagion' comes studio genius. It is techno, but is surprisingly 'vintage Perfecto progressive' sounding, with a sliver of trance in there too. The track twists & turns, cleverly spellbinding you with its intoxicating groove, warm melodies & contrasting dark synth patterns. With 'Oblivion', it has a slight whiff of the progressive techno classic Christian Smith 'Flyertalk' that we adore. With a clinical & water-tight groove, this production will kick & punch right through any Funktion-One sound system, like a knife through butter - this is a stellar release from Nick - do not miss!

Liam Melly is one third of the very successful trance outfit ‘The Space Brothers’ and here he spreads his wings to deliver us his debut release on Outburst Twilight.  The track in question is called ‘Hackinsaw’ and with its marching techno groove and hard-hitting harmonious breakdown it cuts the dance-floor in half. This is an amazing debut from Liam and we look forward to more from this talented young Irishman!
