Mind EP out now! Happy to announce that my first release just came out on the Berliner label “Neuhain Recordings”. After a long time postponing releases, I felt like it’s time to really get out there with my own sound. It’s hard for an artist to judge their own music. So after playing my own records multiple times and receiving lots of love, energetic dance moves, and those funky facial expressions, I felt that it’s time to start releasing my own sound. And how better to do it than on a label in Berlin. As a matter of fact, I moved my ass to Berlin to nourish my musical career. Thanks to Daniel Mizgalski for the opportunity to release on his label and thanks for the two killer remixes of Frederic Stunkel , Robert Egenolf & Leshrac. You can buy my EP + remixes on Beatport.

It has been a while since I posted some new tunes of myself. Creative products are never done, because there is always something you can do better. Call it striving for perfection or just being insecure about the abilities one possess. And for this reason I am postponing to upload new tunes, but I want to change that. I am going to challenge myself in finishing 1 track per month (production, mix, and master). Hopefully I can live up to my own expectations and finish more work in a shorter period of time. So the first two tracks I want to share are ‘Mind’ & ‘Imagine’. The track ‘Mind’ does very well in the clubs, because it's deep, punchy, and has a lot of energy. The track ‘Imagine’ is more melodic and has a lot of elements in the mix. The mix-down of this track was the hardest part and it took ages. That's why I didn’t play the track live jet. But we will see how that turns out during future gigs. I hope you will enjoy the music. If there’s any feedback you can give me, please share in order for me to improve my music.

Meet Cosmic Connection, a married couple from Sweden who share a profound love for deep, dark, and melodic sounds. As both DJs and producers, Malin and Hemo bring a distinctive blend of creativity and passion to their craft.

Cosmic Connection was founded in 2019, yet its roots trace back four years prior when Malin and Hemo coincidentally encountered each other during a vacation in Kaş, a charming Mediterranean town in southern Turkey. It was in that moment that they recognised a cosmic connection to each other and knew instinctively that they had found their better half.

Their journey took a significant turn when Hemo relocated from Turkey to start a new life with Malin in Sweden. Together, they invested in their first stereo, complete with a built-in vinyl player, igniting the idea of forming a vinyl-only DJ duo.
Hemo's musical voyage traces back to the mid-90s when he first discovered dance music through cassette tapes recorded from various radio stations. This passion propelled him to begin DJing in clubs across Istanbul in the early 2000s. Malin, on the other hand, discovered dance music just a few years before meeting Hemo and instantly fell in love with the scene. Drawn to the energy of the music, her passion deepened as she explored different genres and attended live events, ultimately leading her to discover her own unique style and sound.

Over the years, Cosmic Connection has evolved from its origins as performance DJs to multifaceted music producers. Drawing inspiration from Hemo's decades-long involvement in dance music and Malin's background in stage and performing arts, their evolution has been marked by a common goal: to share their love and connect with listeners on a profound level, revealing their perspectives on life and the universe.
Their music, whether as DJs or producers, offers a rare intensity and nuanced musicality. With a passion for synthesizers, Cosmic Connection delves into the depths of sound waves to create musical stories that captivate and inspire. Their compositions are more than just music; they are immersive journeys that speak to the listener and invite them on a transformative sonic adventure.

Cosmic Connection's debut single "Battle of Kerbela" released in February 2023, followed by "No Beginning, No End" in November 2023, and culminated in their anticipated debut album, Consciousness.
