If you are the kind of person that likes to relax with music and loves film this is the music for you.

I believe the world can be transformed with sound. Music unlocks emotional states of being that are transformative, engaging and uplifting. It has been my life long goal to create music that helps us to connect with each other through this world of wonder and great story telling. To educate and illuminate.

Combined with film, music helps to make the story and moment memorable, even long after you have left the theater. As a child I caught glimpses of a magical realm created through film and music, sometimes it was a few seconds, sometimes longer, always rare and wonderful. They were never enough and in my search I decided to start to create the music I was searching for. It is a longing to exist within this rarefied field with variety and scope that drives my work.

My focus is on contemplative and thought provoking sounds and music. And on making the listener feel the emotional impact of the sound to help unlock introspection and through that their own creativity. 

Composition for me skirts on the edge of noise (soothing not jarring) and music. My focus for thirty years has been the refinement of this idea and the resulting music. My primary instrument is guitar although played in an unusual way. Through process and signal processing which I call guitartronics I expand the range of the guitar to get sounds more similar to an orchestra, synthesizer and imitative of other sounds in the natural world. I also play flute and recently began exploring processed natural sounds to further expand my sonic palette.

My original music and sound design have received critical acclaim. I have done extensive work with Sony as a sound developer and worked with film composer Jeff Rona.
Ma Ja Le album Imaginarium debuted at number two on the NAV charts on its release.
