behind the name cosmic fragments stands the israeli musician yoav rosner. deeply influenced by true alternative bands such as sonic youth, the fall and my bloody valentine as well as electronic musicians such as aphex twin, cosmic fragments’ music lies somewhere in between these influences and hopefully offers something of it’s own too. his songs (yes, they’re songs) consist of guitars, hard and soft electronic instruments and lyrics written and performed by him. in 2004 yoav released his first and only cd so far thru an israeli indie label called pookh. since then he deepend and improved his sound without changing the core concept and elements and appeared with a song in the January 2007 edition of the future music (mag) dvd. currently yoav studies audio engineering in london.
