I started this as "just" a new version to play in my DJ sets. I needed Tentacles to be a bit more fun and playful when it drops, but wanted to keep most of the concept of the buildup - which was always the standout part of the track for me. My edit came out quite well, so I decided to show it to Nik and Martijn and we agreed I should finish it as an official remix!

@yone-ko is a great DJ and producer from Japan who has been living in Berlin for quite some time. Together with Timur Basha, he organises the Wordless parties, which take place at venues including Club der Visionäre. His selection is diverse and combines traditional influences with contemporary aesthetic flows. His mix for the Freude am Tanzen podcast is a live recording from 29 August 2025 at Bar Neun Berlin, beginning with relaxing listening music and progressing to dry, groovy rhythms and basslines with catchy claps and hi-hats.
