I have been thinking about it a lot and I have decided that DUFFDISCO007 is the last bootleg I am going to press to wax. It's been fun and I hope you all enjoyed them but I think it's the right time to stop. (you can order the last in the series here - http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/450211-01.htm)

I do however want to continue re-imagining songs and giving my interpretation of them for you to play and listen to and so i'll be giving the reworks away for free. I have set up a donations page if anyone wanted to help with covering the costs of mastering future tracks as i'd still want the best sound possible as I can't afford to be paying for it all myself.

So keep an eye out for new tracks! donate whatever you feel appropriate, of course you can still download if you can't afford to donate.

Patawawa are the latest act to team up with Dutch Boogie dons Kraak & Smaak for their burgeoning Boogie Angst imprint! 

Their bouncing new track ‘Wires’ will feature on the forthcoming Boogie Angst compilation ‘Edition Two’ and serve as the lead single ahead of the full collection’s release in December.  Hailing from the small town of Matlock in Derbyshire, they specialize in funky pop indie jams with more than a small sprinkling of disco. Think the catchiness and songcraft of Chic crossed with the cheekiness and instant likability of Chromeo and you’re in the right ballpark.

Ron Poznansky and Daniel Terndrup met in a high school classroom specially designed for kids who have trouble paying attention to boring stuff. They immediately joined forces in the pursuit of adventure, hiking through the Santa Monica Mountains to collect top secret data on benevolent wildlife, mycological oddities and abandoned earth stations. They soon parlayed their overactive minds into making music, drawing inspiration from post punk, house, funk and the vast cosmos. Their remix roll-call includes Holy Ghost!, The Rapture, Poolside, JOTS, Princeton, Superhumanoids, Harvard Bass, and many more. They currently have a single out on "Throne of Blood" which received praise from Resident Advisor and XLR8R, and radio play on KCRW, WXPN, and BBC Radio 1. Ron and Dan are always working on tons of cool stuff, so expect new remixes, and a full EP in the near future.
