This is the prototype version of Carnival Night Zone Act 1, modified to be similar in style to the PC/Origins version. The key has been changed to C major, the tempo has been sped up, and the two backing tracks have been pitched up an octave.

Heya, here's another S3 proto track! This week it's Launch Base 1! ^o^

When I first heard this tune in the proto, I actually didn't like this tune whatsoever. The melody and countermelody both took up 2 channels each which is really wasteful. The base composition is fine though, so I reworked it to better use the Mega Drive setup and bring out how good the tune actually is!

The goal of this remixing project was to make the beta tracks sound a lot more finished than they were in the beta. To be fair to the originals, they were in a beta state however I still wanted to tackle these tracks anyway since they're full on bops! :P

For all of the S3 proto remixes, I used VOPM and SN-EMU whilst keeping strictly to the Mega Drive's limits (for compatibility's sake).
