Davy Kehoe, from Dublin’s Wah Wah Wino delivers 2 remixes
of Triangle Days, a highlight from Gilb’R’s LP On danse
comme des fous. While the instrumental remix drives us
into a melancholic vibe, where Davy uses harmonica in a
subtle way as he did for his latest live show, the vocal mix
is an unusual approach to remixing. Davy decided to add
his own vocals on top of his mix, and arranged it in a
different way. The result is that the track is brought into a
total pop territory.

Ruutu Poiss, an Amsterdam based Estonian producer has
deconstructed Super Spreader, to rebuild it into a
complex yet driving form of club music.

And last but not least, Gilb’R offers an unreleased jam recorded
live during the Triangle studio days in Amsterdam. Some
latin electronics? Digital guaguancó? A weird groover for fearless DJ’s.

Premiere: Heap – Amour Propre (Die Wilde Jagd Remix) [Neubau]

Dawn had broken and the sun was beginning to rise beyond the hills. Burning reds and ambers illuminated the countryside; a natural wake up call for the inhabitants of the area, who were few and far between. Here, the skyscrapers, the cars and the whirring sirens of the city were a distant thought, almost an unimaginable reality. The farmer looked out over his land and smiled; this was his livelihood, his santuary, his whole lifes work. He'd never known any different...

In 2015 German group Die Wilde Jagd released their second body of work into the world in the form of Morgenrot. The group have forged their own brand of heady new wave and kraut, through blending live instrumentation and electronics. Minimood have picked up the track as part of their multidisciplinary fusion series and secured a strong horde of producers to put their own spin on the track. The remix package is incredibly varied from the fast paced, club-focused reimaginations of Rude 66 and Ancient Methods to floaty, ethereal and downtempo reworks from Roman Flugel, Steve Bug and Fangschuss.

🇧🇪 This is not a mix! This is a love set! It's a sharing of some records I've loved (and bought in two awesome shops in Brussels - Crevettes Records and Balades Sonores) over the past year. A music sharing. It presents exclusively Belgian-based artists - labels - productions. Almost 100% vinyl (two digital tracks provided by the artists themselves), electronic music mostly, 2020 edition mainly (a few from summer 2019). Obviously, it does not represent the diversity of musical production in Belgium. But, through a part of this local scene, I wanted (and I tried) to celebrate the wonderful cultural diversity of "my" country (three institutional communities, three official languages) and Brussels (which is, with 180 nationalities represented, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world).
